ohhh and for anyone that changes chocobos to race with, clear your temporary internet files 
i had that problem today, instead of using my yellow one i wanted to use my blue one, and ended up playing with a yellow one until i deleted my temporary internet files...
maybe something that can be used in the chocobo FAQ

umm this is the first time i have raced and lost in some time and i noticed the extra losses are still happening my first race i had 5 add and the second time there where 2 add on for a total of 7

A minor update has been made to one of the race rooms so that you do not have to do a lot of jumping. I was going to change this before its release but decided to hold off until now  It does shave a couple of seconds from your time now if you were to race again.
