1) You need to be level 10, this is the lowest level you need to be to:
a) use greens
b) meet chocobos
2) You need chocobo items, these include greens, choco sodas, soup, icy pops or nuts
(donate to brumos funds, steal, or buy them from other users).
3) When you meet a chocobo, which happens randomly, you can give a chocobo an item, any of the ones mentioned above will apear in the "items" section where you can select the next move you want to do, to catch a chocobo, use one of the items mentioned above.
4) After giving the item, it will randomly be caught, if it's not caught yet it will do damage, give it a few more greens, if you still want to catch it.
There is also a small possibility it's caught with the first item you feed it... It can also be that the chocobo kills you before you catch it so it's all a RANDOM action
BEWARE!
Chocobos are easily scared, when you heal there's a big possibility it will flee, when you attack it, theres a huge possibility it will flee...

edit: chocobo billy will apear when you've caught 6 chocobos, go to the shop, and press "chocobo farm" he's the person that will give several advices in the top of the screen, and he's also the one that sells the farm...

dunno if it have been done yet but if no i think updating the FAQ about chocobos would be good because the same questions are popping up from lot of members
or maybe when the chocobo forum is done there could be a special chocobo FAQ
