Game Announcement: Chocobo CAFE (version 1.0.1)

Hello, I am pleased to announce the first version of the chocobo feeder feature. Basically it allows you to assign someone that you trust to feed your chocobos. This could be a handy feature for whenever you are away from the site.

When you visit your chocobo farm you will notice a new link titled "Select Feeders". This link will take you to a new page where you will see a dropdown list of your current chocobos, a textfield to select which user you would like to assign to become a feeder, and an optional note that you would like for the feeder to see when he is about to feed your chocobo. The optional note could contain info such as an example: "Be sure to feed this chocobo only mimett greens" or something like that.

Once you have added feeders for your chocobos you will see a list of the current feeders for your farm that can be removed at any time. Only members with karma 20 and over may assign feeders.

IMPORTANT

1. Only allow friends that you can trust to feed your chocobo.

2. It is the feeder's choice to feed your chocobo or not. Just because you add them as a feeder doesn't mean they are willing to feed your chocobo. Be sure to communicate with your feeder (friend) first to make sure they are willing or able to feed your chocobo.

3. The feeder feeding your chocobo will use his or her own items. You may want to make sure to either supply or find out if your feeder has enough greens to take care of your chocobo.

Planned Updates

1. I plan to add a list where you can see which farms that you currently assigned to. Perhaps even display if a chocobo is hungry or has a status effect at a glance.

2. Maybe add an option in your profile where you can choose to not allow anyone to select you as a feeder. Perhaps even the option to remove yourself from someone else's feeder list.

Remember that this feature is optional and it will play a more important role when the "hungry chocobo runs" feature is in place. Enjoy
