so um when you switch careers do you lose stats? and which ones

well yes...when you picka new class you start over from lvl 1...so you cant keep your attack or defense or any of those
unless you promote....you continue with your lvl and all but as a promoted class

yes after you master you loss all none rares so make sure u sell everything and then you pick a new class and start all over

Right, after you master a class you can do nothing, except change. If you change before mastering, you keep every item, but not the experience and levels.
