need help in thunderplains
i am in the Thunderplains and i have to battle this monster before yuna can through her concert to calm people down. anyway i need help on how to defeat that thing all i know is that its weakness is ice not blizzard. ICE! and all i do is die. i came very VERY close to beating him and he kills me. please help me i need help to defeat him sdo i can move on in the game.

well i think you should have by now and it helps with free mega potions at any time. but i would say just devote one person to healing like crazy and by alot of potions if you keep dieing. or just lvl up around the area for a while

First off, equip any dresspheres or accessories with the ability fire ward or fire eater. Have a songstress use darkness dance to make it easier to avoid its physical attacks and keep continuously healing the party with items or a white mage. Keep hitting it with Ice Brand or use a dark knight's Darkness attack. If your still struggling, equip Yunas special dresssphere and use Ice Whirl

lol, Yeah I couldn't beat this monster even when I was level 40-ish.
Good luck anyway.
oh wait you're talking about that monster in the cave? Oh he's easy, I can't remember how I beat it, I think I had a white mage, black mage and Gunner though.

Yeah your lvl are a bit low...I beat it in my mid-30s. Try and level up to 40, then when in battle, cast Protect and Shell on your entire Party. When your about to kill him, heal all of them, because when he dies, he will retaliate with Meteor, which cause MAJOR damage. So watch out.

Zalamander doesnt retaliate with meteor when defeated. Thats Humbaba that does that.

Well he was also in the Thunder Plains! lol My mistake! In that case...well he was easy, it didn't took me long to beat him...lol just keep on attacking and healing lol XD
