need a little help
I am just outside the zanarkand cloyster of trials... and I need lots of level3 key spheres for my characters to move further round the sphere grid.. or I definitely won't be able to defeat the likes of the spectral keeper and yunalesca.. any suggestions?

I've not tried tackling them yet, as I know it will fail, most of my characters have only around 3000 hits, except Auron who has nearly 5000. Aeons of mine are naff...
Any ways of getting level3 key spheres at this stage in the game (I have plenty of level 2 ones but no level 3 or 4, but need level 3 mainly as the level 4 locks are only blocking things like luck+4 and such, but level3 locks are blocking passage for regular passage round the grid).

The keeper boss counter attackes with a move that hit's the three nodes infront of it... So this has to be concidered...
First you should have a good attacker equiped with a weapon that has counter attack... also you are advised to put on two other partymembers that can easily heal this character (yuna prefered)
Once the battle starts move the two healers behind the boss in locations where they can't be hit when the boss counter attacks! cast hastega or haste on party then protect and regen on your attacker and allow this attacker to be beserked! hten just continue healing the attacker untill the boss uses glyph mine, when this happens use esuna on the attacker if he/she is on one of the affected nodes and move the party to safe locations until the affected nodes blow! then resume previous attack formation...

Yeah.... I can turn my people into zombies at will  I'll have to think of something to use to get around that... well Auron has a piece of equipment with death-ward on it, only guy that has protection from the death spell but its a start (even though its only ward and not immunity).
Oh I just consulted the guide and those defenders DO give out lvl3 key spheres but its in the rare box... so I have used a luck sphere and then a fortune sphere to raise my chances of retrieving one (so Tidus has 22ish luck now, does he have to be in the active party when defeating the defender to raise chances or does it not matter).
