This is just a funny quirk I came across. Girls, mostly the asian breed, tend to be very put off by anything that might cause them the slightest amount of discomfort. Not only that but they are terrible skin deep. Today, and in fact right now as I type this, I'm sitting in the library which clearly does not have enough desks to seat students. In my corner at the end of a walkway there is a free desk right behind me. The problem, I guess, is that it faces a wall and the seat is only a handful of centimetres away from my back. So a girl begins to walk close, she slows down and checks out the desk and the problems associated with sitting here. I can name a few of those problems. Me. I'm sitting here on my laptop, with my bed hair which in my opinion doesn't look that bad. Messy is in, and it's not even that messy because it's short. But I sit here, which means she would have to sit next to me. My shirt, it is just a throw-over t-shirt that's black and says "AC/DC" on it, a far cry from hello kitty. My jeans are about god-knows how old and yes they have various holes in them. This is a terrifying nightmare for the asian girl. IF it were up to her, she would not allow any boys who do not spend 10 hours in the mirror every morning at university. I'm clean, showered, shaved, put deoderant on, (today it is Lynx focus) and am nice. So after stopping she took two steps towards the dark, eerie corner of a possible middle earth. The orc-like creature (me) on his laptop was watching, waiting for her to sit down. And as quickly as she took the two steps she walked off, in search for a desk where no one was nearby, or at worst near an art student who has about 50 different brands of Maybelline on his/her face.
My point is that you will never have someone hot sitting next to you in a library unless you spend so much time trying to look look, you end up looking like a mannequin so that when that good-looking person does sit next to you, its only because she thinks you're just a dummy.
