I have MW3 and I think its the best MP experience out of the series. Its also the best SP experience out of the series. Most epic way to end the trilogy!

People say MW3 doesn't add anything, but what does BF3 add? Better graphics and a jet? Also making game modes playable on EVERY map, which should have been there from THE START. Cant say "we have twelve maps...but you only get 3 of them if you have a preferred game type." The beta for BF3 felt like BC2 to me, and I didn't care much for BC2. I didn't HATE it, but it wasn't my favorite....Now BF 1943, that games fun! Haha.

I will get BF3 eventually. Its not the highest priority.

The new additions to MW3 and the revamped perk system make it a MUCH better MP experience, compared to MW2. (I cant have a fair say on MW1, seeing as I got it AFTER MW2 and the MP was pretty much dead or full of modders, so it was terrible!)

I am a kinda guy who plays one game type, and usually is happy with it. Mostly TDM. Or, in MW3s case, Hardcore TDM.

About the teamwork thing that everyone goes on about....BF and MW have as much teamwork as YOU WANT it to have...Sure, BF has Squad Spawning...But, is that really TEAMWORK? I can use Squad Spawning then go wherever I want. The penalty for not spawning on a squad? Oh I have to run further...oh no! Haha.

Modern Warfare may have LESS team work, but that just means if you actually USE it, you will rape the other team! Both these games are much more fun with fiends, though. I cant really play Kill Confirmed solo...Team mates are just so stupid. -.-;

The problem is because in BF3 you spawn with a squad, most people are more likely to actually stick with the squad.

Whereas, in MW the majority of people don't much care for teamwork XD.

AA3 > The Two of them for teamwork Razz

That is true, but BF just kind of ENCOURAGES it more. Just because MW doesn't have teamwork is not the games fault. When I was playing the beta, I had such little teamwork on my part. (I would have played with friends, but yaknow...Their whole party system was broken during the beta.) I was able to plant and destroy the targets with out teamwork. I can do the same in MW.

Just because BF has a stronger way to encourage teamwork, doesn't mean it MAKES you. Not only that, it has MORE players and bigger maps, chances are you will be next to a team mate whether you want to be, or not. Especially in a map like Operation Metro, or the game type RUSH, in general. Seeing as one team has a certain objective within a smaller portion of the map. Is that REAL teamwork? REAL teamwork is communicating and planning a flank, or something.

I am just saying, don't hate the game because you yourself don't work with teamwork. If you have friends, get them and play. people use less teamwork in MW because people SAY you use less teamwork. So, they don't even try to use more Teamwork because they re already in the stereotype that MW requires no teamwork. People use more teamwork in BF, other than the "squad spawn system", because people SAY you need to use more teamwork.

Once that mind set is in, its hard to actually break it....Since so little teamwork would go on, one might try to get strategic, but be ignored, thus giving up.

MP games are ALWAYS better with friends.

A game that encourages great teamwork is Assassins Creed Revelations...Now, of course, you can go solo in a team game, but You have a MUCH higher chance of failing. I usually play with one other friend in a 4v4 match, and we constantly F S up!

You CAN go alone, but its not encouraged.

One of the things I do in MW, its not really TRUE teamwork, but w.e...is walk in the same direction as one of my other teammates. (This is a much harder strategy on Hardcore, seeing as Friendly Fire is ON.) By me helping (hopefully) him out, he may unwillingly help me out. If someone comes around the corner with his crosshairs on me, and my teammate lights him up before I die, its all good!

I'm not an MW fan boy, its just people hate on the game for the wrong reasons, Most people gave it a bad review and probably haven't even played it. How many people actually BEAT the campaign and knows the story? I bought MW3 for its campaign, which was although, short. It was great, and if it were any longer, the story would just feel dragged on.

I agree, MP games are better with friends. And when I used to play CoD, I would attempt to co-ordinate the group of strangers I was playing with. Nobody wanted it, which I found incredibly strange. Why would people not want to work in a much better methodology. And I haven't played MW3, I haven't even played a single BF. I hate both series because to me, I just don't enjoy them. The single player in CoD4 wasn't actually that bad.

CoD has a great single player. Well, the Modern Warfare series....WW2 needs to stay back in the decade it belongs.

well, for the person who claimed to only have played the beta, they really messed it up, it turned out they were using a several week old build, only gave 2 maps (caspian border was released a bit later) with only 1 game type, lots of bugs, several unlocks missing and in the end the beta was only there to test their server load so everything would run smoothly on release, so if you played the beta on metro only you haven't really played the game yet in my opinion

as for mw 3, even when attempting teamplay it doesn't feel as rewarding as it does in bf, i play with friends and even though we use teamwork it doesn't seem to add all that much.
BF has more teamplay as just squad spawns, the right choice of kit in certain situations can matter a lot, if you see a tank being shot and you're an engineer you can help out a lot in that fight, if you're a support your job is to suply ammo, medics should do their jobs too.
granted not every player will play the way you want to, but if you do get some teamwork going it can turn a lot around

i'll have to admit i haven't played any Single player yet, started today on the bf 3 campaign, if i'm gonna do COD 4 + mw 2 and 3 i'm not sure yet, i might

we still play COD 4 on lan parties cause even though the multiplayer isn't as thick as it is in the later COD's it has dedicated servers which allow you to still level
wonder why they ever removed that...

i never played bad company, so i can't really judge but what i hear from my friend who has he says bf 3 has done a lot of things that improved the game, like no more full metal jackets and kevlar, apparently when you're starting off now in BC 2 you'll get your butt handed to you because of those 2 "perks" i guess i can call em...

one thing i like in MW 3 is the change in strike packages, kill streak rewards, though you notice the support is probably used the most...

I am aware the Beta was a previous build. Also, Caspian border was PC exclusive. (Thanks, EA.)

That can easily be compared to seeing a Pave Low in the sky and shooting it down. Seeing as they take 2 rockets, if 2 people have a one shot rocket launcher, they used as much team work as that Engineer did on that tank.

Though you can use a medic and ammo classes to supply teammates, how many people are JUST doing that to get XP?

The removing of Full Metal Jacket and Kevlar could be the same as MW removing Commando Pro and One Man Army.

And, I agree. Support is the most used, probably...But, I use it for the right reasons...Casue I suck. Seeing as it doesn't have to much offensive things (Just the Juggernaut suit, really.) its not OP...And Juggs are easy to take out if you USE TEAMWORK. haha. If 3-4 people are firing at the Juggs head, it will go down fast. (9Though, they could have removed the Riot Shield...Riot Shield+Jugg suit is OP! CORNER CAMPERS!)

i have to dissagree on that, lol, if in MW 3 2 people shoot down a pavelow it's mostly out of self preseverence because the pavelow would otherwise just hunt them down instead

and in bf 3 i'm not really noticing people just giving ammo for XP, unlike previous BF games you auto drop the ammo crates meaning you don't have people just running after others supplying them so sure they do it to get exp, but at the same time it doesn't mean they just sit there cause they will still provide help in battle

as for the support kill streaks: because of the killstreaks resetting after getting the last people who use the stealthbomber can get the stealthbomber really easy by using it once and making it their last reward, the stealthbomber only needs 10 kills, get 3 kills with the stealthbomber and you got a new reward and you're really close to geting it again (i suppose this can be considered either tactics or abuse) as for teamplay on juggernaut, in domination i managed to caputure a point, tank 4 people and a sentry gun

i don't think the teamwork really mattered in that considering i still got the point

If two people work together to take out a tank, they are fighting for themselves. Whether they give a crap of helping the teammate is irrelevant. If you do something in war, it helps or does not help EVERYONE. If I am taking out that pave low for myself, I am directly helping my team. If I see a tank, and I know I can take it down, or at least damage it, I will. MW3 and Black Ops SERIOUSLY lack people who take out those choppers, not gonna lie. But thats mostly because they dont want to switch out of their precious class. Which is not the games fault, its the player.

I never said that seeing people solely use those packs were only to gain XP, point was it is how people CHOOSE to play. If you want to be supporting your team, for the purpose of SUPPORTING your team, then you can in both games. If you want to be an A-Hole and do things that benefit you...You can.

I dont think the Stealth Bomber should be in the support class, you're right on those facts...Since it is in the Support class, its abuse. If it was Assault, it would just be that guy was good and got 10 kills in a row..TWICE. (Which, form MW2 experience) can happen.

ANd you say how YOU tanked the people, were they working as a team to take you out? Possibly not. (It oculd have just been poor teamwork, which we wont get in to. Haha.). But, Juggs aren't to powerful if ganged up on..the right way. (Hardcore might be a different story...not sure how the Jugg armor affects damage on HC.)

I'm not a big fan of BF series, I watched a friend of mine play BF3 few times and it didn't encourage me to try it myself...

Call of Duty is a different case, I finished the campaign in MW3 a couple of weeks ago and it was fun, not memorable but I loved it. I'm into the politics more than the shooting part, I wish it was longer and more complex, but this is not the series to ask this from.

That's a new one!

Haha. But, yeah. I like the MW campaigns! They are good. May not be the most complex story, but, this isnt Metal gear Solid. haha.

That's a fine comparison! I completely forgot about MGS, haven't played it in ages! I might go back to it one of those days.
I loved Yuri in MW3, his character introduced the most interesting twists to the plot, but still wasn't complex enough Wink

Well- MGS has a complex story AND has to do with politics, so, it only seemed natural! Haha.

Yes, Yuri was an interesting twist!
