I have just listened to the entire FFXII main theme and I only have one thing to say:

It was incredible.

I own the FF XII OST, and Sakimoto-san is truly amazing. If you're a long time fan of the FF series, there are a few -for need of a better word- "remixes" of old songs that Uematsu-san wrote. "Final Fantasy" is of course embedded in some of the music as well as the new theme, which I might have to say is my favorite so far.
Other from the Advent Children and Final Fantasy X soundtrack, I might have to say that the FF XII soundtrack is my favorite.
Maybe it doesn't help that I also love Angela Aki's "Kiss Me Goodbye"?
