Music question
Okay, I remeber playing ffviii on the playstation, and i'm playing it on the pc now, but... has the music changed? If so, why is this? I'm listening to pc 'premonition' while its paused, and... its a bit like a lullaby. The playstation 'premonition' is what really stuck in my mind, with musical kicks and everything. Thoughts on this?

1st of all, are you playing ffviii on pc the PC version or using an emulator with the original playstation disc?

pc and pc. its wierd how relaxing the music is, though... you wouldnt expect it while fighting a deadly sorceress

i cant really describe the things that are left out... the best i can manage is that they made it for ps, and then left a few instruments out in the pc version :S

i just cant see why anyone would do that given music is pretty easy to manipulate and change to the needed format. also, the creative director (if it was me) would never allow this.
i also doubt that they redid the music. it was a port done by a different company i would think.... right?

hmm... its possible. like you said, i dont know why they would want to do it (mine came from singapore, that might be a reason...) its not as though the ff8 mp3 tracks are exactly hard to pick up off the internet... i dont really understand. oh, and cheers, seifer (never thought i'd be saying that to seifer, but wahey!) hope you make creative director soon!
