Review: I really like vampire movies but never have i ever come across one thats so original and awsome that id go see it three times in the theater. 30 Days of Night was that movie. i loved every heart pounding second of this movie. It had great action scenes and an awsome and original story. Even my friends eho hate scary movies loved this movie. I'd recomend this movie to anyone. Nuff said

Review:Funny Games is shot-for-shot remake. It is a strange kind of horror movie.As you watch, you think the family will be completely murdered brutally, but your wrong. The movie is about 2 psychotic brothers that commit the acts in the form of a 'Game'. They torture the family of 3. The good things about the movie are: It is creepy the way the twins talk and act, the kills, even though there are a few, are truly strange and pretty horrific.The acting is pretty good. The bad things about the movie are: There is this long scene drags on WAY longer then it sold, its about a 10+ minutes long scene that has nothing happen, its basically a long scene that tricks you into thinking something will happen, but doesn't. And some of the scenes are dumb. But it is a good movie, and a very creepy movie, in a starnge way.

Review:Ok well this movie is truely a one of a kind type of horror movie. It is full of amazing plot twists and leaves you in suspense the whole movie. It is about two men who wake up in a room bound by a chain. They are on sepreate sides of the room and both men have no memory of what happened or any idea who the other is. There is a dead body in the room with a gun in his hand and a bullet in his head. Thats when the game begins. Throughout their attempts at escape everything is soon found out about these men. It is truley an amazing one of a kind type movie.

Name: Don't Mess With the Zohan
Genre: Comedy
Rating: 7.75
Review: This is another movie from the infamous Adam Sandler and for the most part its ok. This movie is pretty funny but not as good as Sandler's other movies. This movie's jokes consist of all sex jokes or steriotypes, not to say it isn't funny but it does get old after a little. Not much else really to say, a decent movie though no where as good as other Sandler movies but overall not a bad movie.

Name - Ichi The Killer
genre - psychological horror
rating - 8.5
review - from the infamous director Takeshi Miike comes this brutal film of sadism and masochism, stylishly filmed and brilliantly acted. while the film is too violent for the casual viewer, with depictions of extreme torture, the films sense of black comedy and humour gives it a less aggressive tone. overall this is truly a movie for those who wish to open their minds to something entirely different and for those sick of hollywoods poor attempts at showing torture and violence onscreen - forget films like hostel..this is where you should be heading. exceptional.

Movie: Hellboy 2
Genre: Sci-fi Action
Rating: 7
Review: i liked the first Hellboy do when i knew this was coming out i reslly wanted to go see it and pushed it to the top of my list. ok now that being said i thought thios movie was way worse than the original. this movie sucked 2 hours and 15 minutes out of my life that i could have spent doing worthwile activities and most of it wasnt even that interesting. alot of it was random filler that had no action in it. i guess the director thought that filler was building the characters but probably only one big thing came out of the hour or so of the fill. there were few action sequences but they were good i guess. but the thing that gets me mosty was in the begining you pretty much know how it has to end *SPOILER*
but they keep it going and going dragging the plot along like a screeching kid in a mall not getting his toy at any rate this movie was a waste of money but maybe die hard action/Hellboy fans will like it

Name - Batman - The Dark Knight
Genre - action/comic book adaptation
review - finally its here, the one everyone has been waiting for...and the new batman movie delivers in bucket loads...finally a movie which thinks outside the box and introduces at last a hollywood film which treats its true target audience with a little dignity and understanding. dark knight is certainly a very dark film, which makes one wonder at times how it achieved even a 12A rating with its depictions of violence, whether visual or implied. the performances are what truly bring the piece to life, with Bale and Ledger leading a all round terrific cast with performances that'll leave a lasting impression.the only negative points were that the action scenes were often incomprehensible with far too many camera cuts to follow; also the ending sequence didnt live up to the sort of finale i expected. however these are small complaints for a movie which with perfect casting, musical score and overall deliverance, caused for one of the most tense, well made, exciting and sometimes disturbing movies in years.
overall, a fantastic experience, surely the best comic book adaptation made so far, a film made with heart and soul which keeps the viewer on the edge of the seat, never knowing who will make it alive til the final reel. outstanding.

Review: i thought this movie was completely amazing. i saw it 6 times without losing the slightest bit of interest in it. i dont think there was somthing that this movie could have possibly done wrong from start to finish. casting was amazing great music and amazing plot. Heath Ledger brought the Joker to life in a new and eerie way and this will be the way he and the character should be remembered. theres almost nothing wrong with this movie besides the fact that it was a little on the longer side and that it ended.
