I know there are some particularly annoying ones but I'd have to say... ALL OF THEM.. the battles in say.. FF7 were more random.. these in FF9 were all fixed in set groups of enemy attackers e.g. the ONE enemy vs 4 of your team whilst in FF7 you get a random mix per battle vs 3 of your team.
Just call me butter... 'cause I'm on a roll!

yes Desert palace might be a drag but you figure it out faster after u play a couple of times

I still dont like desert palace because monsters pop up too many times and since you only have mages, it's a huge waste of mp...

nah, i always take stiener, freya and amarant. not quina because of his/her huge lack of the spirit stat...which means that quina will suck against Ark.

Don't have a clue what Spirit does.. so it doesn't bother me :p I'm sure there is probably equipment that can boost that stat anyway.
