Yes, but I cheated. What you do is you start at one end and wait for the zolom to reach the opposite end. You then run as far as you can before the zolom reaches you. Right before he is about to reach you, bring up the menu and save. Restart the game and the zolom should be on the other side of the marsh, allowing you to run the rest of the way across.

I never did that... I just ran across once... I was fighting it for the enemy skill

i killed it, i was over level 21, spended some time training in the Chocobo area and the area where you get the Matra Magic Enemy Skill, i was always veery prepared in levels, i had Meteorain when i reached Cosmo Canyon, and im not lying i trained in the Gold Saucer area, when u have the crazy red car, the fiends give u lotta of experince there, at that point.

You can get meteorain outside Junon if you use the fury tactic... or basically wherever you can get a hyper.

i did just... he was like 1 cm from gettin me... i only ran cause i didnt no how to get a choco... i had the materia but i could never get it rite catching one... still even worse happened... wen i went into choco farm i pressed rong option on choc  and didnt get choco/mog materia lol

 I'm sure you can just redo that bit, by talking to the chocobo again.. but I always chose the right one so I don't really know.

omg i wish i still had ffvii but i traded it in along with my playstation for the x box ... wish i didnt and now i got a ps2 but i cant find ffvii lol it sucks and also can u save on ffvii on ps2 cuz i was playn diablo on ps2 and i tried to save and it said i didnt have a memory card (when i did)
