I've played all the playstation MGS's and this one seems interesting because of the multiplayer story

ive got it, im about half way through and its not multiplayer in a competitive sense, but co-op. just about every mission has co-op if you want, but its only if you are on the same network... which really does me no good so ive been doing everything single player.
ive heard a lot of people say its much more difficult doing missions solo, but so far, its totally possible and i kinda liked MGS games on the hardest difficulty anyway.
that being said, its a lot like portable ops but without the tedious way of dragging soldiers to the start of a level. you still gather up ppl but its like instant now. pretty great.
bottom line, im loving it. any other questions just ask.

Actually i think it's harder doing missions with friends as the bosses you fight have more health and defence.

so i finished the main story last night. they took some leaps with the story (which isnt new to the franchise) but it just ddint hit home as much for me. I thought portable ops had a better ending (though far worse control) but it did strongly relate to mgs3 which was my fav by a long shot.
looking forward to more missions though I dont think id ever replay the main story like i have with past mgs games.
