Lost the will to play Edit* Regained will to play =P

I've just reached the Northern Crater and I've lost the will to play. The only things left for me to do are:

1. Get omnislash
2. Finish the game
3. Beat the weapons (emerald and ruby)

No. 1 seems kinda boring. I only have 97 BP and getting GP is ticking me off (the motorcycle game was giving me 10 GP and I thought awesome, then I realised that you only get 10 GP if you beat the high score and I set the standards pretty high =( ). I would do No. 3 but I've had bad experiences with fighting super bosses (I was fighting the dark aeons in FFX. I beat 4 of them and I had a 120 hour game going then my brother deleted my save file. I would have killed him but he is 9 years my senior). I might just end up finishing the game, but I've found a trend that I just give up on FF games before the final dungeon. No idea why, the game just seems less enjoyable.

Edit I thought I'd just finish of the game. I think I overlevelled because I found the final threesome rather easy minus the final (not the impossible to lose battle) fight where both cloud and cid were incapitated and yuffie was left all alone in the first minute. I managed to regain control and revived everyone. I finished Sephiroth off with Meteorain although I was sad that the battle had to end along with that funky music Sad . I wasn't really impressed by the ending. It made sense but it wasn't nearly as heartwarming as the ending of ocarina of time (can't I like zelda and final fantasy =P). Anyway, I'm satisfied that I finished it off.

BTW Supernova is the longest move I have seen in any game. I took a wizz (literally) and came back and it was still going on. Sheesh

I can try to help ya gain back your will to play it again.

For no.1, try going in and out the entrance to Gold Saucer until you saw a smal figure (a guy) behind the ropestation gondola at the entrance. Talk to him and he will offer you to exchange gil into GP (maximum GP you can get from him for each transaction is 100 GP). So if you need more, simply repeat the process until he shows up again. So you'll have awhole lot of GPs for the Battle Arena.

For no.3, there's a few materia combination you might wanna consider while battling those weapons. Here's a simple yet very useful one I made out:

Knights Of round+W-summon,Magic Counter+Hades,Knights of Round+MP absord/HPabsorb,Magic Plus (to deal 9999 damage),HP plus,Counter+Mime,Phoenix+final attack

Or if you like to play with magicks, here's some:

Ultima/Demi+Quadra magic,HP/MP absorb+Ultima/Master Magic,Counter+mime,Sneak attack+Ultima,Master Magic+Mega all,W-Magic+Ultima,Phoenix+final attack,HP plus

I also beat the last dungeon really fast...

Come on, the Northern Crater isn´t hard, and Sephiroth... If you have at least level 2 limits, and some good weapons, is easy, even without Omnislash, KOTR, or other hard stuff, so start from Nş 2, as it is the easiest one...

The best way to get GP is Chocobo Racing... If you´re lucky, in a race you can get around 300 GP.
