Looking For RolePlayers
I'm looking for RolePlayers of a somewhat high status to RolePlay with.
Not looking for:
I'm gonna kill you! *attacks*
I'm looking for:

I've posted a somewhat Advanced Level RP in the RolePlay Section, but apparently it had no views whatsoever, so I'm trying to gather up some serious RolePlayers who like post-apocalyptic RolePlays with controversial concepts. I've taken a look around the most active RolePlays in here and honestly I'm not just unimpressed, I'm also somewhat dissapointed with a few members I could imagine being very skilled RolePlayers.
This is just a small Thread to TRY to find some Roleplayers who can do at least over 10 lines WITH skillful RPing style. That'd be preciated

I could try. I haven't done any real role-playing in a while, save for pen and paper RPG's, but I am interested. I am only on at very specific hours, but when I am on I can be very active. The hours are 8-5 my time, weekdays only until I get the internet for myself at home. If you would allow me to play, then it sounds like fun.

Well if you can follow the normal Guidelines to this sort of RP (which I bet you'd have no trouble with), then sure you can join. And, being a recurring RolePlay, posting once a day is usually enough. The Posts usually go well over the 40 lines, so they're pretty much enough.
In my own Forum I RP in three or four RolePlays , 100/150 lines per post, 5 posts per day, along with the other RPers. I'm used to a high standard of RolePlay that is not at all hard to reach for people like yourself, for example. And probably crazed4now, who seems to be a very inteligent individual.

Alright. For now you can go to the Page of the RolePlay in the Roleplay Section, and search for the Fourth Section of the Introduction Post for the Profile Guidelines if you like.
You can either think up a profile until we get enough members to start, and then Post it.
Or you can look for the Guidelines and create a Profile now, so I can take a look at it and help you twink it if necessary.

I will check your Roleplaying thing out. I might join, I might not. I tend to not join things with a story that I don't like. As for how you are running it: With lots of lines and posts and whatever. That is cool, that is the way I like it personally, but you aren't going to get that many people. Still, I hope that you actually do prove me wrong, cuz that would me that I get to have some RPing fun Assuming that you let me in of course. You are, after all, in full control over who can or cannot be in your RP, but I see no problems that I would pose.

Well of course I will not ask of anyone to write me a copy of Hamlet. I mean, I would appreciate a little effort into keeping a Post slightly acceptable to at least Regular Roleplaying Status, which means no *'ed actions, quotations/italic showing dialogue, and so on and so forth. A little length is also appreciated, I tend to bore easily of Posts that stay under 10 lines short, as I see them as unprofessional, and entirely steal the whole purpose for me to Roleplay.
But again, that is only my point of view. Some people's idea of Roleplaying fun are Turn-Based Asterisk Actions, with an occasional taunting line or two. My idea of RolePlaying fun is a professional-looking Post, with solid detail description as to paint a nice visual image to the next Posters to follow up, with good spelling, punctuation and for the very least, some effort.

Thinking quickly, endnekind ducked from the swift flying attack. He watched the blade fly swiftly over the place where his head had been, which gave him a burst of both relief, and outrage.
"You shouldn't have done that", endnekind said as he drew out his favorite weapon, a Dai-Katana. He got into position and with a mighty downward slash using the force of both hands attacked Riku.

heh... I understand ur frustration... I love to RP but I usually stay away from rps on here cuz usually the story sucks... or because the gm can't manage the game with any kind of skill... and for the very reason that you were complaining about... that there are no real skilled people to rp with... you can try sites like rpol, it worked for me ^^ I will go check it out tho...

I've Roleplayed for 5 years. I've seen this Roleplay go from start to end in 137 pages. I know just how much potential it has, it's just about the Roleplayers.

Yeah I know the feeling... there have been some REALLY detailed rps that took a long time to perfect and I have seen them made a joke of lol... thts why I don't usually put them on here... I play arround with rpol lol
