Hyrde walked into his Mother crying, again. She had been like this for a month now, everytime he saw her she was crying or about to be.
This is really getting old...plus without Father here for so long a time I may actually have to get a job...
"Mother, you know Father will return soon..."
This statement succeeded in nothing but a break in the tears.
"I'm just so worried about him....Hyrde...," his Mother said slowly through the tears.
"Everything will be just fine Mother..." he said.
With that he hugged her and went to his room. There he took his dagger put it in the sheath he always kept in his boot. He picked up his tome, and stood there...he knew what he was going to have to do.

He stopped short, in shock. Lena had her tail wrapped around her sword, and the very tip of her sharp weapon was against his throat. In her right hand,not far from his face was a baby fireball.
"I win again." She stated calmly, dispelling the fireball, and pulling her sword away. She sheathed the weapon in a fluid motion of her tail. She had found that with practice, it could almost be like a 3rd hand.
Her sword teacher nodded his head grimly.He knew she was ready. "You can go, like I promised." he stated.
Lena picked up a small pack, which had everything she would need for a long trip, and turned away from him.
Before she could take a step forward, he had caught her hand in his, his grip gentle. "Lena...you never told me why you're going."
Lena looked up at him, her eyes held a determined flame, but just behind that flame, was a small shadow of sadness that came into her eyes whenever they talked of her parents, and he realized what she was doing. But she slipped her hand out of his, before he could warn her against being reckless, and walked away, not taking one look behind her.
Deep in the Cloin woods, near the Counsel Grounds a lone woman walked with purpose, her short choppy hair swaying in the wind. A troubled expression was on her beautiful face.
Almost there... Chime thought walking through the woods, Soon I'll be at the center and I can start my search for him... "My love... I'm coming for you."

"Not bad... I like the way the the guitar sounds, It's quite nice..." said the man in the office.
" Does that mean my band can play here?!" Asked Kyle
" Don't get overexcited, Just because I like it doesn't mean other people will... We have a band we can let play here, and we know for fact we will make money with them, but your band is to... Unreliable" Spoke the man.
"That's fine, I'm used to it by now..."
"Well... let's see... I can't really do anything, I'm sorry. Better luck next time."
Kyle got up and the man offered to shake hands by raising his hand. Kyle grabbed his guitar and walked out without shaking the man's hand.
Kyle was walking down a busy street in Fwere. He noticed there wasn't many cars but lots of pedestrians.
Kyle stops at an intersection, puts his guitar case and opens it. He grabbed his Mosrite JR-F. He also takes out a fender mini-deluxe mini amp. He took a guitar cable out of his backpack and hooked up his guitar to the amp. He started out playing a cover of the Ramones.
" Now I wanna sniff some glue
Now I want some thing to do
All the kids want to sniff some glue
All the kids want something to do..."
Kyle finished and noticed not many people liked his cover, He even made kids cry.
He decided he should play something a bit less...Rough...
He then started to play a Clash song.
He noticed he received more tips, and then decided to start playing his originals.
He Stayed there till Sunset. Then he packed up with a smile, knowing he just made an extra 20$ means he can afford to buy an extra bass string.
He arrived home at about 10 o'clock. went to his room dropped off his guitar on his bed which is always where it "sleeps". He usually slept on the leather couch situated in the corner of his room.
"Did you get the gig?" His room mate asked him
" Naw man, no one appreciates punk music anymore..."
"That sucks man, so what did you attack him again and he called the cops and you spend the day in a holding cell again?"
" no I set up on the corner of the Venue and made enough money for us to get take out."
" Then let's go man! You made what? 10$"
"20"
" Holy! Dude I think that's the most you ever got in one day!"
" Let's just go, I'm starving"
They then left and went to the pizza parlor at the corner of the street. Usually the Pizza Parlor gives Kyle free pizza if he plays in the parlor and any tips he gets he keeps. The owner's name is Murry
" Where's your guitar? How do you expect free food if you do not play?" asked Murry
" I got money today Murry." Replied Kyle
" so the usual 2 slices and 2 pops?" Asked Murry
" No. I made more then usual. Give me a medium vegetarian and 2 pops." Answered Kyle.
Murry then went and started making the pizza. Kyle and his room mate sat down, waited, then ate.
Hyrde walked back To the living room. It was now late and his Mother had gone to bed. He wrote her a note and put it on the table. It read:
"I've gone to find Father, I told you everything would be alright. I'll see you soon."
He hadn't exactly known what to write, so that was all. With that he left. He walked down the street towards the corner store. He saw the owner locking up for the night.
Perfect timing.
He waited and after the owner left he walked up the the door and started feeling around the edges of the door. Eventually he found the switch in the frame and pressed it. A section of the yard lifted up revealing a staircase down. This was one of the secret passages to The Counsel's headquarter's. He'd seen his Dad use it, although no one was supposed to know they existed. He walked down the staircase and the entrance closed once again.
The lanterns were still lit. That meant someone had been there recently.

Kyle and His room mate(Mark) were sitting in the pizza parlor talking. Then the subject of the council poped up.
"What do you think happened to the Council?"asked Kyle
" Meh, they prabably decided they were tired of keeping peace in a land where no one wants peace." Answered Mark
" No one wants peace?! Did you seriously say that!? I want peace! I hate the war! I some how always get involved into stuff like that! and I hate !"
Kyle the burst out of the parlor.
"See ya tomorrow!" Said Mark, still sitting in the pizza parlor eating the pizza.
Little did Mark know this was a soft subject with Kyle. And Mark was not going to see Kyle the next day... Not even the next month.
Kyle went home, Grabbed his guitar, some 9v, his mini amp, a few effect pedals and amazingly it all fits in his gig bag. The he grabbed his pistol, shoved it in his pocket. The he grabbed his twin swords and a map of Lokalyn. He then head off towards Yelkin.

From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
Lena kept her fast pace. She had traveled for about 4 hours, and was on the outskirts of a city like she had never seen before. She eyed it, disgust in her eyes. "Bunch of snobs." she muttered to herself. She turned her back on the sight. It was far from the place where she had grown up. This was a very fancy place. People going too and fro, bigger houses. She continued on her way, she was heading for Yelkin, she had a friend who had at one point had a map to some underground chamber of the council, there. She wondered how she got her hands on something so secret, but never bothered to ask. She continued to be deep in thought until she heard a noise behind her, and her trained ears heard two humans behind her.
"She looks harmless...but do you think..that tail...?" whispered one quiet voice
"Nah.." said the other human "Fwerians never learn how to use their tails, their just useless things that hang down and look ridiculous on them. She'll be easy."
She waited until they had snuck up a bit more on her, and then she stopped, and her tail lashed out at both of them, and moving like a rapid fist,knocked the first one unconcious. The second one turn and ran. During this, she hadn't looked back at them once.
ridiculous humans. she thought, and went on like nothing happened.

Lena finally made it to Yelkin, having no issues with the border, and made her way over to her friends house. When she got there, the house dark. A weird feeling began to take root in the pit of her stomach. Her hand resting on the hilt of her sword, she slowly and quietly inched towards the house. When she reached the door, she sucked in a breath, and slowly opened it. After fumbling around, looking for a candle, she found one and lit it. Her eyes went wide. Everything in the building was on the floor, things scattered everywhere. Someone beat me here... she thought. Slowly she went through everything, trying to find what she was looking for. Finally, she found it. She sighed in relief. The intruder before hadn't found it. What happened to Rachel? she wondered. She decided it would be best to leave, before the other intruder comes back. She blew out the candle, and slid quietly out the door. She followed the map, and upon arriving, she found the enterance already open.
"Hmmm...someone's here..." she whispered. Taking a deep breath, her hand resting back on her sword again, she slipped into the underground chambers.
Hyrde continued down the passage, now lighting the torches as he went, meaning that the hooded man was the one who had been lighting them, and he soon saw why the man had turned around....Hyrde began chanting again, but this time it was one of his few spells that would actually do damage, and it was going to take a long time to prepare...he just hoped he wouldn't be noticed until he was ready.
