lies in the past
OK ... this RP is based on a time so far in the future that its like the past ... let me explain. This world went as far into the future as it could go, then finally "something" happened and most of the technology was lost, sending people back to the midevil ages, except for the select few who have the ability to restore and use the old technologys. Magic has returned to the world, along with many other "forgotten" races. The Main Point Behind the RP is to come up with your own theory of what might have caused the Earth to go back to the midevil ages, or if you think that the world has always been this way, and then to do what you want with it. Try to prove it to others, try to find out for yourself, or just try to get by and live your life. You can have as many characters as you can handle as long as you fill out the form. Nyuu walks out of the back room of the small hometown inn. She sighs before she opens the door. Its been a long day, ever since that group of outlandish looking travelers came in, this place has been a mad house! She finally gathers herself together ready to act pleasent when "Nyuu! Oi! Nyuu! Where are yeh?" A great big burly black cat Neko, with one eye and rough black hair, scars all over his unclothed cheast. Walks up to her. Makeing her look even smaller in contrast to his enormouse size. Somehow though she doesn't seem scared ... "Nyuu I need you to tend to that far table."
"Already on my way" she says pleasently
"Great, I knew I could count on you"
Nyuu smiles and walks out the door with a pad of paper and makes her way to the back table of people who just entered the inn.

(fine, but we really should come up with a name for this.)
"find me..." Raven looks around the darkness trying to find the thing behind the voice. "who are you?" a slight breeze begins to blow as something begins to glow just up ahead."Is that you?" "Find me....." Raaven begins to fly forward to try to get to the origin of the glow. "I'm almost there! Just hold on!" he begins to see it more clearly now. first a hilt, and then the blade itself, jutting out of a skeletal corpse. "find me...." "I found you, what do you want of me?" "Escape and find me.... Your time for revenge is near." "revenge, revenge for what?" all of a sudden, a dark figure rushes him and hits him on the face. He wakes up and sees that he is back in the prison cell with his wings still bound behind his back. "was it all a dream"?

Nyuu walks up to the table ... most of the men sitting there have wings. Nyuu finds this interesting but stops her ears from perking as not to give herself away and be rude. There was one female at the table ... and she was beautiful beyond words, thinking to herself she says "Well I have never much believed in Angels, but if there were any she would be one." The next thing she noticed was that there was a man who was just as amazing, sitting right accros from her at the table!
"Hello." Hello? What was that? she was sinking fast, she can't loose her professional attitude.
"What can I get for you?"

"hey freak," Raven became used to those words while in the thieves prison."back away from the door. the boss is coming to talk to you personally." Surprised, Raven answers in a stern empty voice," why open the door to this cage if he can simply talk to me through the bars as you are now?" Somewhat dumbfounded, the sentry can simply reply " Shut up! it's the bosses wish for this. to be honest, I don't even know why he would keep a pet canary in the first place. just back away from the door before I get the stun gun." "as you wish." raven slides away as best he could even though his arms and wings were shackled together.
When the 'boss' came. Raven saw that he was a short pudgy man with rosey cheeks and a well dressed suit. He came into the cell with four guards that surrounded Raven. "What is your name?" asked the pudgy man." none of your business." Raven felt a sharp stap of pain and then numbness in his back where the electric prod was placed." now that's not how to talk to the master who has kept you alive these past weeks is it? just answer my question or you get electricuted again." raven simply stared this man in the face and replied with the same empty voice as before." you torment me and feed me moldy cheese and stale bread. if that's keeping me alive, then I think I'll take my chances out with the wolves. I will not tell you my name. it is the only thing you have left me, and now you wish to take it. I would rather die." The stumpy man seemed slightly irritated with this answer. "you mistake what you have here. It's my word that keeps these guards from killing you. Give me your name now or be punished!" "then punish me." "you heard what he asked for, punish him until he gives up an answer. I'll be back in an hour to check on the progress." Smiling like a dope, the sentry merely replies," yes sir."
After more than an hour, Raven begins to smell his own flesh burning. The sentry, getting bored of the torture begins to share his thoughts out loud without knowing it." Where's the boss? I hope nothings wrong." soon after saying this, the door outside the cell bursts open with a small explosion, rendering the guard imobile from the pain of splinters wedged in his skin. Raven hears the sound of swords clanging just beyond the door, When a highly armored man walks in through the destroyed door.

Kahen walked the streets, searching for things to salvage that day. She had the amazing ability to make anything useful, no matter how primitive. then again, her kind specialized in that matter. The ninsune were specialists at searching, creating, and of course, spying. It was an odd time to live in though, especially for her kind. Magic was highly regarded now, but alas, the ninsune are not allowed to practice. It was grounds for being disowned, especially in her branch of the family. Kahen was a direct decent of the main branch; her grandfather had been the leader of their clan before the attack. after that, Kahen was adopted by her uncle and learned everything from him.
A small stone shined in the sun. It almost blinded the girl as she reached down and picked it up. "Perfect!" She smiled happily and put it in her pocket, continuing her journey.

The sentry still uncontious on the floor, didn't catch the knights eye. what did, was Raven. Trying to hide his wings in the corner Raven begins to watch the man about to speak.The knight spoke in a deep serious tone," There is only one of you? our source must be getting rusty. What's your name son?" Raven merely stared this man in the face, trying to figure him out."Aren't goin to say anything eh? well that's fine I suppose. ma names alburt winsworth. most people just call me Al though. Let's get you out of that cage and get you some decent clothes. now, where's that stuipid guard..." looking around for the sentry, he sees him lying on the floor." ah there he is." prying his keys from his belt, Al unlocks the door into Ravens cage. Raven trys to get closer to the wall, slightly fearing this mans reaction to what he was. Seeing his fear, Al seemed a little frustrated. "now ah can't rescue you if you don't trust me." Hearing this, Raven simply replied, "I can't trust another person very easily. Not after what they did to me. please, just leave me a cloak and the keys. I can do the rest. If you want my trust, you must trust me. You may wait outside of what's left of the door. please." slightly amused by this answer, Al agreed and walked outside, bringing back with him a long black cloak, a leather cuiress and some greaves with some mild padding, topped off with the keys. While walking out, he took the sentry with him. If he were to leave, it would have to be on foot.
Raven made sure he was gone before he made a move. After seeing al leave, he took the keys with difficulty and unlocked his hands, then his wings. Rubbing his sore wrists together, Raven stretched his wings feeling relief that they were no longer bound. before putting on the cuiress, Raven cut holes at the shoulders using a sharpened rock found on the floor. After putting on the clothes, Raven put the cloak on, making sure it covered his wings. Walking out he sees Al looking over some papers spread out on a table. Raven could hear him talking amongst his comrades. "Just as we thought. they were using this place as headquarters to a slave trade operation. How could this be happening right under our noses?" Seeing Raven in the doorway, Al seemed to change the subject. "Ah! theres the man of the day! come, sit down!" Realizing that he was with the royal guard, Raven felt even more uneasy. "I don't feel like sitting down at the moment." Al seemed to take the words like daggers, but still just shrugs it off. "Still having trust problems I see. have you decided if you wanted to tell me your name yet?" thinking hard at this, Raven decided that he could trust Al. "Raven" slightly surprised, Al said "Now was that so hard? now come on. let's get out of this cave and eat somethin." Following Al, Raven sees that it's about midmorning and a little cloudy. not good flying weather at all.

Kahen began to run home as fast as she could. She couldn't stop the overwhelming emotion of happiness. in truth, she was a little more the obsessed about her little trinkets. currently, the girl was working on something that was going to eventually be a gun. The bullets needed a strong casing though, so she decided a refined stone would do the trick. Kahen already was using some other materials from the forest, but it was tricky. the bullet couldn't be to heavy, but it had to be strong. the gun powder had to be strong enough to make the bullet go far but not hurt the gun. The gun.... she actually didn't actually have to create it, it was a gift her uncle had given her long ago. He had told her that it was used long ago for times of war, but the particular model was used for simple protections. She didn't know much about it except how to load it, how to fire it, and that it was called a pistol apparently. She kept running as fast as she could until the force of gravity fell onto her hard as she tripped over a large tree stub and fell over, twisting her ankle. Kahen grabbed the joint in agony as she cried for help in her cries of pain.

(OK guys sorry I haven't been here to keep up wit the RP ... I am so glad you guys have such creative ability... But I would say that Crazed's posts should be like the MAX of how much should be posted at one time. Do things in smaller pieces, make it easier to follow and give those who may not have a chance to sit and read a book to be able to read, understand whats going on and interact. And if that ruins your plan, good! Thats what an RP is, not everything goes as planned, or you could just write your own story and submit it in the writers block... Does this sound fair to everyone?)
As Nyuu walks arround serving tables she hears the sound of someone crying... At first she thought she was just hearing things, it was hard to hear anything over all the noise in the diner. But then, no it was definately someone crying... Nyuu walked to the door and looked out. When she saw, Kahen laying there holding her ankle she immediately ran over. "Ohh! Are you OK?"
