Letter I wrote to my teacher
Over the years I have developed a hand full of teachers who have helped me over the past three years that I can call “saviors.” You have helped me change my writing from nothing to something. You have helped me change the way I look at life. Everyone has a teacher. Everyone has a teacher who has helped. Every teacher has a student. Every teacher has a student who has tried every night and day to get their writing better than everything.
I remember that day when you told us that it was getting closer to portfolio day. You said to put everything that you were taught into that piece of writing. I tried to make it perfect. I put every Smiley Trick that you taught me into that piece of writing. I tried to tell how I really felt into that piece of writing. I proved that I knew what I was doing. No help whatsoever. My own work. No one breathing over my back telling me what is wrong and what’s not.
You taught me a lot this year. I learned so much about William Shakespeare that I would never guess about him. I learned how to make my writing better by Smiley Face Tricks. Also, the Holocaust month. We played that spelling bee game. I remember looking down upon you thinking, “No wonder she is called Mrs. Short.” I had a great time being in your class!

That's very kind of you leaf.
There have been so many teachers here where I live that just give up on the children. So I'm very glad to hear your showing your teacher appreciation for helping you out so much. Not alot of kids do that anymore.

She was my 8th grade teacher from last year who just suddenly sometime ago moved away after my class. She is a huge reason why I can truly write the way I can now. What about you guys do you guys have a teacher who meant something to you

You didn't specify what. For example, my Year 3 teacher meant something to me. She was always putting me in Detention, even if I hadn't done anything. I absolutely hated her, and was annoyed when she died from cancer because it meant that I couldn't exact my revenge.
