Lets see if things have changed... Best FF?
Last time me and Shelinda asked this question we were flooded with FF VII fans screaming in our faces because we thought 8 was better... I still think so and always will! Now, in your honest opinion(CloudStrife) What FF do you thin is better?
Better story, Better Chars, Better Char progression, Better lasting appeal and so on.
Answer truthfully and mark FF VIII! lol

Well for the better story I have to say that Final Fantasy X and VIII has the best story (my opinion) but of course all the stories are awesome.
And in every Final Fantasy there are great char and there are annoying ones except I think for Final Fantasy VII, or so I guess...

I don't really find those annoying, well maybe sometimes.. in 8 yup selphie is so annoying, oh and God eiko is so annoying and steiner, in X I meant like Wakka and sometimes Rikku in X-2 and yup Vaan in XII

i really dont find rikku annoying..dont know why...i love everything that she's doing..and also wakka...i dont find him annoying...he's cool...he got lulu hehe

Rikku is the coolest char in X I think along w/Kimahri and Seymour, and Auron too
I didn't find Steiner that bad, he changed over the game and by the end he was hella cool
The annoying ones for me are: Cait Sith, Yuffie, Rinoa(sorry but she acts so fake), Selphie, Zell (OMFG I might hate him the most), Eiko, Wakka, Tidus, Vaan and Penelo too

yeah i guess not only me but most guys....anyways lets go back to the topic...what im trying to say is that let say FFX gets the graphics, FF7=gets the story, FF8 gets the love story or romance, FF12 gets the new system?, and leave FF9 to be my choice ...

I think FFIX gets all those elements combined, great story between Vivi, Zidane and Kuja. I mean, you have an evil kingdom fighting the good kingdom of Lindblum. That kingdom (Alexandria) falls and is then under control of one of the main chars-Garnet. Kuja crushes that kingdom and she loses her voice! That's a pretty good twist. We know the rest of course.
The battle system, loved the class system and the characters weren't all the same. The Trance System was pretty cool as well. And it had some difficult bosses and Ozma. And great characters and character development, something I don't think VIII had too much of

ok let see..1st dont compare 9 to 8 since this is not the topic for that...hmm second the only guy i like in FF9 is zidane and maybe freya 3rd yes i like how they give each chracter a different kind of ability but dont get too caught of the system since they just added another slot for someone on the battle and that doesnt make it soo great...now every final fantasy has different kind of way to maximize the chracter's ability...Materia, junction, weapon skill, sphere grid, licence grid etc...every system is unique so give credit to that...and about the story...it wasnt bad and i consider it good but it's not the best or that great....and the characters development pleasseee....quit saying that...Tell me whats the character development in FF9?
oh did i say that the overdrive or limit break in this game sucks?
