I am 92% finished with the game I have the players guide but I still can't get to the secret cave in the Calm Lands that the Chocobos find. I followed the directions, but I still can't get it. How do you get to it? I'm sick and tired of sending out chocobos.

Yeah the older versions of FF I managed to get every single thing, but with the X series the mini games are so tedious that I dont even bother.

Hah, I bought this game the day after I finished FFX. I was so hyped. I played about 10 hours of it before I stopped and re inserted my FFX disc to continue some sidequests. Don't get me wrong, it's not THAT bad but I think I just prematurely bought X-2 before I really finished X.

Yeah it is more of a side quest add on then a stand alone game, something to expand on for the FFX story

Some of the sidequests are just silly, and I refused to do 1... the Dodging 200 lightning bolts... I got to 198... and I got hit. I gave up... I said it wasn't worth it... afterall, I had Rikku and Yuna hitting for 99,999 every mug...

I think he was referring to FFX-2 sidequests, but yeah I agree I didnt even bother with the lightning bolts. Back then it was very fun and rewarding to get special weapons, like defeating the ULTIMA Weapons to get cool items in FFVII, but now it is so tedious and frustrating to get a simple item if FF (PS2 series) that I dont even bother.

Oh I'm not screwing around with those lightning bolts. The most I've dodged is 5 but that was before I even knew about the whole minigame thing.
ATM my characters are still pretty weak. Tidus and Auron have 9999 HP and do that much damage every turn (except for Tidus' blitz ace move). I havent been able to break their limits yet but maybe I will soon...
As for the X-2 sidequests. Man they are so gay, like the chocobo catching one. I don't get frustrated much but that game was really pushing it.

I have a little problem with the fight scene. I have to say that the ff game I play now are FF8 and FF10-2 ( I couldn't find FF10 ) So it was so different, the fight scene of FF8 is stay still but FF10-2 was keeping steering wheel. I have to make myself conversant with it.
