Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time HD
spent 24 hours scouring the web for textures, combining packages, getting plugins to work, tweaking settings and i managed to get from this:
to this
some of the game looks like this, but not all. but it does breathe new life into the game for me.
though, inside most houses and including Hyrule town look just as bad as they did before due to those areas being just one giant low resolution texture.
[edit] sorry, some of the game looks like this. no dungeons are complete yet.

So.. I don't get it.. It looks nice and you definately see the improvement, but is this a PC game that you re-vamped graphicS? or did you just re-edit the pic? =P

Hard to deny the improvements there.

using an emulator and a ROM of the game.
you can play the game on your PC with revamped graphics.
its not photoshop, its ingame.
unfortuantely, less than half the game is textured as so. mostly the overworld is redone with dungeons looking mostly the same.

Ah.. I haven't looked at Emulator's much past the Super Nintendo and Game Boy Advance.. I have a game contorller but not sure how well N64 would work with a PS2 style game controller for the comp. o.0
and I'm more looking for a PSP emulator so I can get the Final Fantasy Dissidia rom as soon as it hits america. =P

oddly enough the only PSP emulator does not play PSP games.
also: im playing N64 games on my PC with a 360 controller.
i cant imagine a PS2/3 controller being that much more difficult.

Oh, really? I just know that a feel of an N64 controller and a PS2 are much different lol.. But N64 emulator + Zelda rom I'll make sure to get.. Don't suppose you could send any links, even if you added "For entertainment use only, and only if you have the original game already" to avoid any legal issues?
And yeah, I noticed about the PSP Emulator. -.-'
[EDIT} Nah, nevermind, I got em. ^.^ Also there's another Zelda Rom that's suppose to be linke Ocarina of time, but with alternate dungeons? o.0
http://www.emuparadise.org/roms/n64/z/#
Those are where i'm getting Major'as Mask and Ocarina of Time from.. though 25mb seems kinda small.. Maybe they are suppose to be, iunno, but I'll try em lol

It's also an actual game. It's called "Ocarina of time: Master Quest".

I said it's an actual game. I also have it on my GameCube. It came with the special edition of Wind Waker and also has the original OoT on it.

Oh, well I got Ocarina of Time, Master Quest, and Majora's Mask.. Not sure about getting any other N64 rom's because, well I have an N64 it's just a hassle to pull outa the closet. XD
Also, anybody here play Perfect Dark? (Best frekin shooter/RPG even to date in my opinino.. It was built WAY ahead of it's time in everything but graphics lol)
Also, to keep on point of the forum, does every rom of Zelda have those HD graphics? Or just someone edited a specific Rom?

I've played Perfect Dark. It's a good game but I still prefer Goldeneye over it. I've yet to play a better FPS than Goldeneye.

Perfect Dark was made by the people that made GoldenEye.. Which is perfectly seen through the unlockable GolodenEye guns. =P
C'mon.. Awesome ranking system, half-smart AI, good level designs and missions, plenty of weapons, ALL weapons have a secondary mode.. You can set up battles.. Unlockable levels.. Unlockable challenges that lead to unlockable Cheats.. Decent Voice-overs.. it was awesome! ^.^

no rom has them
you need to find a texture package, install a specific emulator, intstall a specific video plugin, configure the video plugin, and put all the files in the right place.
i had to combine a few packages to get what i have now. so i had to sift through packages looking for parts i didnt already have and put it with others.

Man that sounds like alot of effort. =/ Maybe if someone comes out with a simpler way I'll do it ,but until then I'll have fun with the regular MAster Quest lol.
Oh, and Zelda Ocarina of time was easily one of hte best games, ever.. Just wish they'd re-make it with a ton of more monsters or at least weapons, lol...
Actually.. alot of games would be awesome if they re-made them. o.0
My fav part of Zelda is the killing zombies with sword and shield.. I mean.. has any other game really done that? lol
