eah it works i know plenty of people who dod it
i actually used to get a cable line to the inactive cable tv connection
and link it to the back of a REALLY old comps tv card, then install som software and watch quite a few cable tv channels after tuning them in xD
by which i mean
i dint actually do this
nor endorse it ?
i've had so many times where they "disconnected"our cable and i still had TV XD

when they switch off our sattelite, they leave on terrestrial channels 1,2,3,4 and 5
and still take away all of the freeview digital channels

dutch satalite has the same, only channels that remain are all the german ones (germany has free TV but all of it is synchronized tv, so how good is your german?) and 1 channel made for satalite TV in belgium and holland...
