um i think you get knights of round ya in the top right corner east,
you get quad magic near choboco ranch go to ranch go east facing norhtthen go south a little
you get hp<_>MP
near mt. corel north gothere and go near and a little east
you get mimic
near rocket town go there head west so ya

On one of the materia caves I Think its the one near mideel, if you land your airship correctly you will be dropped off the cliff and be able to get into the cave without a chocobo.
