which ones jenova death? i dont think its possible to lose the jenova battles as long as u have the right armor
k i remember
equip a fire ring or fire armlet on 1 or 2 chars and just hold down the circle button for an automatic victory
o and if u want to kill it faster use aqua breath if uve learned it

Yes.. its the fire element based jenova.. at the crater first visit?
Equip elemental fire materia into armour and
fire armlet/rings in other members.
Use ice/water attacks and it should be easy to beat it.

I found jenova birth rather easy :/ just make sure you're over level 25 and have level 2 spells.

intesting cuz i beat it at level 16 easy.... plus i had level 1 spells plus jenova death is probably the easst fights ever because its purly fire based if one person has fire ring its prtty much over because all of her attacks are based upon fire even without it its still prtty easy i beat it at level 33-37 that was my appoximate level

If my sources are right about Jenova death you might want to use a Fire Ring unless Jenova Death is in the forgotten city

About the level 25 thing, that was merely a suggestion to ensure you're safe. Yes she is quite easy to beat at any level really.
