Is it, or is it not
Almost everyone says FF7 is the best ff game made, i think that to, but what do u think, is it, or is it not, and if its not, which one do u think is the best ff made?

I second that FF7 was the best FF made with an additional so far, though many may disagree the classic will never be replaced and there'll be no game like ff7 but as a standard RPG fan I believe in better RPGs in future.
FF7 has given a few of the biggest impact on gaming industry mainly at North America where RPG games were so unpopular back then (before 1997). FF7 has given rise to many great RPGs and also the solid final fantasy game ever made. It has a great story line (though I think FFT has the best) and character development besides the captiviting battle system.
The remake of the game would definitely raise the lost ratings the game had for graphics.

hey SP..sorry to disagree with you about FFVII's graphic. you said that the game lost rating coz of it..it's not true you know? Coz FFVII has the best graphic of its time. It is the first game out there with FMVs..and not to forget, a full 3D cinematic epic RPG.

very true, before, final fantasy vii, rpg only took up 10-15 percent of the video game fan base, then when final fantasy vii came out, then it kinda sprawled completly , like everyone wanted to play, and it paved the way to rpg fan base including myself, (i was 7 years old at the time when i played ff VII) VI made an impact to final fantasy but VII made an impact to everyone else, VII was the game that gathered people to play final fantasy in the first place.

I thought FFVIII was a close second. FFVII is still king though. I don't see how people can hope to compare it to FFX or higher. I think everything after VIII is a waste of money.

As true as Shuun's statement is the first FF I got is FF IX. I have been tempted to but it loads of times before though just to see why people thought it was so good.
