iPod help!
Ok, so i downloaded some vids, and i tried to put them on ipod, but it didnt go on there, so i tried syncing it to the SAME computer ofn the SAME file, but when i synced it, it just deleted all of my stuff off my ipod, i mean ALL OF MY STUFF! EVERYTHING!
I got all the songs back on it, but the movies and videos wont sync, and it wont let me put new stuff on my iPod, so basically, all i cant hold on my ipod is music and i cant put anything new i bought on there, this happened of course, after i synced it, its weord because it was on the SAME COMPUTER and THE SAME FILE as i put the iPod on, any help?!?!?

so let me get this straight, you still have all your music and videos and what not on the computer in itunes correct?
id say hook up your ipod, reset it to factory settings and just go from there.
also, what kind of ipod and did you do add any extra goodness to it? aka hacking it a bit?

i have an iPod nano 3rd gen. i use to have it on the other computer file, but i used Senuti to convert all of my music and vids to my new file, on which i have all my songs, videos, games, apps, etc.
i tried putting Advent children on my ipod using the HandBrake converter, none of these programs hack or alter the ipod itself, they just copy the songs and convert the movies...well, when i tried putting the Advent children thing on my iPod, it did not show the little + thing at the bottom of the mouse, so i thought i had to sync it onto my iPod, turns out, when i tried syncing it, it just deleted all my stuff off my ipod, i was able to sync it back to the ipod and most of the vids and movies, but now i cant add anything new to my ipod or take anything off of it, i did restore it, but that didnt help anything, i tried syncing it again, but that didnt do anything either, i even tried resetting the ipod itself, but to no avail, it still will not let me put anything on or off of my ipod... i am getting an iPod touch soon, but not for a while still, i need to sell my Amp, which might take a while , i need a serious iPod tech geek!

well honestly, i dont know what to tell you. i always use itunes and for when i did convert movies to the... mp4 format or whatever the itunes requires, then add it in there and sync then and its never given me problems. honestly, id never use another program to sync anything with my ipod since ipod and itunes were made for each other, thus equaling no problems.
i have an ipod touch and it is indeed a lot of fun. sadly, i have a 1st gen 16gb which.... is okay, i just wish i waited for the 3rd gen 32 gb but alas, thats the price you pay for buying early from apple.

alright, ill guess il have to go buy an iPod touch and sell my iPod nano, of course it still works, just not with my iTunes app...

the ipod nano doesnt play videos as far as i know i have one and it doesnt play vids so i dunno maybe thats your problem
