Iphone/Ipod touch games
So i know not a lot of people have an ipod touch/ iphone or if they do are even interested in games, but i feel its really coming along as a gaming platform and its a force to be recon with. With all the stuff in the app store i felt it was necessary to get some of the greats down on paper(post) so that others could see more than just whats in the top 25 apps and so on.
recently the classic Myst was released. It may not have been super awesome, but it does bring back memories. the touch controls work surprisingly well and from what ive seen, it looks better on the ipod/iphone than it did on pc back in the day. its over 700 megs so its something you should dl on your pc/mac and then sync to your touch/phone. I believe its 5.99 which for the game, its a crazy awesome price.
another recent release... peggle. now i had heard of peggle far too much and never looked into it. something about mindless "gameplay" that i never really bothered to check up on, but since its releace on the touch/phone i had to. and its pretty great for soemthing to pass the time. tons of features and i didn;t feel tooo bad spending 4.99 on it (since its the only version i own). if i had it for the pc or something, 4.99 would have been a bit much.
the new metal gear solid touch... well... they have a lite (demo) version out that you can try to see if you like it. personally, even as a huge mgs fan, it wasnt for me. Ill let everyone just check it out instead of giving my thoughts. at 7.99... well lets just say im glad i tried the demo first.
Another game that goes by the name: Rogue Touch is a classic dungeon adventure RPG as the app description says and they are right on the money. its very unforgiving as in when you die you die and must start a new game. with the dungeon being a 50 story tower i beleieve, one must make it up to the top and then back down with the treasure to win, something i can't come close to doing. i think ive only gotten to lvl 30 and died only to start a new game right away. its a blast if its something you remember from a time since passed. the screenshots will give the you perfect idea of how it looks and plays. at 2.99 its a steal in my opinion.
another quick mention is crayon physics deluxe which if anyone on the pc has played before is a lot of fun and works great with the touch controls. I would almost say better than the pc but to each his own. Its a little heave on the system resourses but runs smooth after a reboot of the hardware. This has no demo but the full game of 50 levels is 4.99. its a good time if you dont own the pc version.
last but not least for now, geo defence. Your classic tower defence game filled with retro/geometry wars graphics. with 24 levels to play and 5 different towers, theres a lot to it. not to mention its probably one of the hardest tower d games ive played to day... even on easy mode. This also has a lite (demo version so check it out) the full game is 3.99 but more often than not throws up a sale when the production company puts out another game.
ill add more reviews when i see some gems that might be over looked.

bought peggle for my ipod touch today, i now officially own it on:
PC (Deluxe and Nights)
DS (Dual Shot)
WoW version (VERY cool)
and ipod touch (awesome!)
the PC and ipod are definately the best versions.
my friend has the regular cellphone version, which is byfar the worst version, yet is still tons of fun.
his girlfriend owns the ipod video version, i havent seen it but i imagine it places above regular phone, but below DS version.
