In-game ads
well.. i hear obama has ads up for those racing in burnout paridise on the 360. no idea if its on the ps3 but yeah. pretty cool i think. im totally fine with this kind of ad being as its a passive thing and besides, i think it puts you in the game more.

If it helps pay for the game im all for it. The ad also looks like it fits in in a game like Burnout. I would not however like to be playing an RPG with a background ad as it wouldn't fit in with the surroundings.
It does also seem like a good thing that the ingame ads can now be changed as you wouldnt want to play the game in 20 years time with an ad for something that doesent even exist anymore in the background.

yeah it seems like it would fit more so in online games (where they can change the ads to match the times) and games that are based in reality. like... rainbow six vegas 2 comes to mind. having little posters on the walls throughout the casino would be okay. maybe even grand theft auto.
and yeah, if it helps keep game costs low then everyone wins.
also, stop signing on drew so i can get above you in karma lol.

Sorry about the signing on lol. I just have the main Funender page open in Tabs and just refresh occasionally. Im probably end up signed into the site the most without ever actually posting or anything.
