Immortal Wars OOC/Applications
Unusual entities have always been able to conceal themselves from the general population. Their secret wars for domination an utter mysery to the general poulace. Anyone smart(or stupid) enough to discover this world of inhuman activity has been quickly assimilated into it or destroyed. But as the technology of mankind becomes ever more advanced mythical beings find it increasingly more difficult to hide themselves. some have come forward and negotiated with world governments not to disclose their existance whilst others have gone deeper into hiding and then there are those who dont care and simply do as they wish because lets face it, when you're immortal you need some exitement to break up the monotony of eternity.
Races:
The Undead: Currently the undead have an accord with global authorities to keep their existance hiddin so long as their activities are kept to a minimum. Not necessarily creatures of evil the undead for the most part disguise their existance well and live amon normal people. Includes Vampires, Liches and other beings whose existance was extended beyond death
Highlanders: Humans who are to all intents and purposes invincible, The only other race that normal humans are aware of, as far as the system is concerned they dont exist, most were born centuries ago and are simply looking for a reaon why. Their occasional self genocides known as 'quickenings' keep their population low. the only sure way to kill a highlander is to cut their head off.
Dragons: Revered as gods in some cultures this doesnt just apply to the archetypal fire breathing lizard, dragons come in many shapes and forms but all are very intelligent and powerful beings however they are extremely rare and unimaginably hard to find.
Shinigami: Those who control death are of course immune to it themselves. The lords of death, the reapers and of course death himself. The reapers are employed to keep the natural balance of things so of course they see other immortal beings as anomalies that should be removed from existance.
Demons: Creatures of pure chaos demons exist to cause mayhem and dischord in society. Over the years demons have been the cause of many conspiracies and near-miss incidents. Demons include Minotaurs, Succubi, Hellspawn and any other creatures of chaos from any culture you can think of.
Angels: The beings who actively combat demons and keep their antics from making a mess of the world. The natural balance to demons, Angels are a force of law and order, not neccessarily the benevolent souls read about in the bible, Angels operate very secratively and do not engage in anything outside of their mission. (thats right kiddies they wont get your cat out of the tree)
So far all of these entities have manage to co-exist without reavealing themselves to mankind in general (despite the efforts of the demons) However when a new and ancient evil arrives can they fight it off without exposing themselves or will distrust take hold and result in the end of the world as we know it?
How do people feel about this one? Interest? Applicants?

Are we bound by only these races? I tend to be someone who wants to be something a little different. And I LOVE playing the underdog, so a non-immortal character begs the question of its possibility.
Normally I would play as an angel but I love to be super-benevolent and I DO want to get the kitty cat out of the tree for the kiddies.

Appearance:
Weapon: An old, white, wooden staff.
Bio: Alicia may seem like a normal suburban girl. And for the most part, that is pretty much right. She has lived a pretty much normal life. The only part that may be of any interest is the staff that was given to her as a little girl by some strangely dressed man with a shaved head visiting from a foreign country. It was said to be ancient according to the man, but Alicia's parents just said that the guy was probably nuts. She researched it thanks to the power of the mighty Google.com but all she found were stories of monks that train martial arts as a way to gain inner peace. Since then she has trained the same way, except from videos online instead of real trainers. She doesn't know if the staff has any meaning, but, at the very least, she thinks that her training due to it and looking into foreign customs has given it some meaning for her own purposes. (Pretty much: The staff could be special, or it can just be an old stick. The story will be just as interesting to me either way. I leave it up to you, Kuro, as to whether special things will come of it or not.)

hmm i like it, we'll see how that one pans out. I'm thinking you're character is going to be somewhat of a catalyst in the events of this story if that's cool with you.
Characters:
Death:
yes he's a skeleton in a black robe, he has a scythe and a horse called Bink (and a motorcycle incase Bink is otherwise disposed) he commands the reapers and occasionally makes personal visits to the land of mortals when he deems neccesary but otherwise stays in his realm.
Vladmir Kudrin:
High Vampire Lord Vladmir is the face of the undead as far as humans are concerned. He heads the vampire council and makes all the big decisions like wether there should be cakes or muffins at their next meeting, even though vampires eat neither.

I will figure something out.
Maybe when Mgold, -513-, and the rest come back it will be good.
But a 2 person RP isn't always bad. (In fact, they can be the best because you are less likely to have to wait on someone for a few days or a week to post.) But more people does add more humanity to it and less NPC-iness.
