Ninja place, Kinda sounds like Wutai, If it's your first time there I am assuming you need to go to the temple of ancients. Before you go there, go to the gold saucer battle square and enter the Showroom, Dio will turn up and make you fight. once you've fought he'll give you the keystone to enter the temple of ancients, The temple is pretty difficult to find but if you follow the small river bit past lucretzia's waterfall you should see it straight away
