Ideal jobs
Now there are a lot of heavy issues floating around in here now but i wanted a light hearted one even if it doesnt last.
jobs are a big part of life and we all end up doing something and we hope that it suits us and we enjoy it but thats clearly not the case for everyone (read: most of the world) but what would be your ideal job. im not talking about sitting on your butt all day drinking beer, im talking about, if you didnt have to worry about money, what would you do. would you teach would you build houses like they were forts, would you sell coffee from your street side cafe in the middle of a small town?
just so everyone gets it, i dont really count sports as a job but if thats your ideal situation then fine, lets just be clear that if your dream is to play baseball, you may not be very good at it. its just you, your current skills and knowledge and a dream. i wanna hear it all, if only to broaden my scope for when im an old man in "retirement"
as for me. id love to have my own cafe. not in paris but somewhere cool and unknown. i dont want a lot of idiots running around in my place i want people that i either know or can relate to and have a real conversation. like if i could open a virtual cafe on the internet, id do it here.

I already work in a cafe (Starbucks) but what with the drive thrus opening up, it kinda killed the whole reason of the coffee place, ha we;ve even gotten celebrities in my job
Anyways....
My ideal job is traveling to a bunch of different places with my camera taking pictures meeting new people, discovering different cultures and such...Sharing my stories with others and listening to theirs....
I'd love to photograph alot of things in Japan, China, Turkey, Scotland, Ireland, and Kenya (elephants. lol)

so you want to be a photo journalist. that would be pretty sweet. paid to travel and paid for the awesome pics.
as for starbucks, i really dont consider that a cafe. im talking about a street corner store where you can go in, sit down for the whole day and just be. im not gonna kick people out and try and fill the seats. even if you dont want to buy anything, come be a part of my world and take interest in the things around you. whatever. id make crazy drinks. not just coffee. crazy tea combinations, id mix every kind of liquid ever. it would indeed be a great atmosphere. also. some jazz or blues in the background. think of it as a cafe night club... but in the day time. so a cafe dayclub.... though i guess i could be open at night too lol. if it was warm that is. id close in the winter lol.

Yeah Starbucks isn't really the kind of cafe I'd like to work at...........at all...........
(I hate that job >.>)
It used to be considered a cafe before it became popular and such...
And yeah a photo journalist, I love taking pics
I'd be an instant regular at your cafe seifer, that would be awesomeness

Host of The Late Show. lol
Well I would love to travel around the world like elphy, the actual job would most likely be motorsport. National Geographic would be fun but I can't be relied on to take photos lol (Haine knows about that)
I would have to keep in touch with my friends though.
The cafe is a great idea. For some reason it reminds me of a show called "It's always sunny in Philadelphia"
Now that you mention it Elphy, my ideal job would be owning my own island lol

haha like a pub? xD
Yeah I was thinking that to
I would take pics of you Stappy and put them in a cool mag like Nat. Geo.
But my job can't really take fold until I am certified (2 more years)
Maybe La Haine can give me a few pointers xD
And owning your own island would be niice, nothing like naming and owning a piece of land and greenery

although i suppooooose its owned by the local govt but whatever. you could fight them off lol.
and yeah, sunny in phili is a funny show. though i dont think my daily happening would be as messed up as theirs are lol.

My ideal job - would be working with large, exotic animals in foreign countries (like looking after and examining the elephants of Africa).
Or... I would work as designer in some game-company, like Konami or Namco That would be wicked.

ive dreamed for some time to be a software developer, more specifically a level designer/programmer.
it looks like a very mentally challenging job that can give me the freedoms i want with my creativity.
sure, it would be cool to own my own game studio some day, but i would be more than happy to work for any company as a level designer.

ideal job eh? hmm there are more things i'd love to do...
well i'd like to become a pro graphic designer (im trying to actually work on it but it's hard with such lack of time)...another thing i'd love to do would be translating (more or less working on that too already lol) even tho it can be a pressure on brain but i believe it feels like that also because i have school and tons of other things to keep in mind...but if i would do just that, it would be different
