I think I have to disagree.
I got the collectors edition and the phone-book sized players guide and I've been playing for about 14 hours now and I love the game. Yes, it does have a little bit more of a StarWars feel than a Final Fantasy, BUT, I do look forward to playing it as much as some of the other FF's on a daily basis. I'm following all the side quests and I've already memorized all the chests I'm not supposed to open so I can get the Zodiac Spear and I do plan on filling my three main characters License chart completely (requires 13,700+ LP) I think one of the things I'm having the most fun with is doing side quests and killing high level monsters I shouldn't be able to kill yet, like taking out the Wild Saurian at lvl 10  . Anywho, in summation: FFX sucks and this game is awesome

i thot it was great for the 1st 40 hours...then i realized i hated the game

Glad that you like it man  It is a love or hate type game. I enjoyed some parts but the bad audio and 45 minute cutscenes that only consisted of nonstop talking that appeared every half hour just didn't do it for me

well wait a sec... for the record im not sayin that FF12 is a bad game at all. in my opinion there's no such thing as a bad FF game (other then FFX-2 which i only played because "Final Fantasy" in the title lol)

I guess another reason I do not like it is because I played this on an HDTV and 4801/p games on an HDTV look like PS1 graphics. There were jaggies everywhere. That is one thing that everyone expected from the PS3 was to upconvert games to 1080i/p. Hopefully they will release an update for that but if not I imagine that will disappoint millions of gamers.
