I learned something new that may be helpful to you guys :)

This is probably one of old those things where everyone knows about this except for me, but I wanted to share anyway since this makes my life easier I had to buy a new keyboard since my other one died on me yesterday. This new kb is great but the shift key is a little harder to press, so a lot of times when I needed to capitalize a letter, it wouldn't register. I did some research and learned that if you quickly tap the SHIFT key five times on your keyboard, a menu in Windows will appear displaying a few options.

If you enable the STICKY KEYS option, it allows you to press SHIFT once, and you can press another key a second or so later on and it will capitalize it without you having to hold down the shift key while pressing the key I wish I would have known about this years ago. When programming, I need to hit the SHIFT and 4 key to create the dollar sign to represent a variable, and sometimes I press SHIFT and 4 and it just displays 4 instead. Or using the letter "i" instead of "I" due to this problem as well. I had to share this info to those who have the same problem of hitting the shift key to capitalize a letter and not always having it register.

So in short, the SHIFT key delay time is extended so you can tap it without having to hold it down to capitalize a letter. Oh yeah, be sure to go under the sticky key settings and turn off the option to disable it if two keys are pressed, since that usually turns off sticky keys accidentally.
