Squall's level can be kept low by using this method:
- Diablos Enc-None (very useful to stop all random battles and encoutering in world maps,dungeons,etc)
- Kill him while using other side characters like Seifer and Edea where you can use them for a short time. So he won't gain any EXP but ur GFs will.
- Devour/Card skill, don't kill the monsters fought. Just devour or card them. No EXP.
Yeah, +_+ FF9 is the longest game I've ever played. Took me hours to get those best weapons and other side quests - Chocobo treasure hunting. Moogle letter delivery too!
Ultimecia has, at level 100, at least 400k HP (not joking, I tried today, and she has beaten me!), I tried a Lionheart and 2 duels, and she didnīt die :@
Fight at low levels, itīs a lot easier (I beat the game at lv 44), now that you have completed the storyline, start heading for the side quests, such as Lionheart, Omega Weapon (it took me over 40 minutes and attempts)
The boss I most hate is Griever, he always casts his awful Shockwave Pulsar and leaves me in around 1000~2000 HP, then he dies, and the third boss pawns me wih an Ultima, but today, I didnīt let her do so, I casted The End on her XD
It was funny see how I have beaten her in seconds xD
Yes, The End only works for bosses not monsters in dungeons or world maps. The chances of it occuring is higher if your Selphie level is high - but who cares if you can just freeze the game by opening the cd case.
This isnīt true, I used it in a random battle around Deling...
And I believe the chances are higher while Selphieīs HP % is lower (yesterday she was in 5 HP xD)
PD: It works against ANY monster, but X-AMT092 in the first fight.
The End - instantly kills any enemy, including bosses. (exception: X-ATM092) Very rare, but appears more frequently at higher levels.

Well, I used to fight for three hours or so too and never win... but I came up with an idea...
When you play cards with Elone in third CD you get a card, then I can turn this card into 100 hero... so I end up killing her in one hour and their HP is full when everything ends
