Yep, no ATM.
I don't think that when you get "held-up", the person wouldn't just steal your money. Maybe he/she might also get your cellphone or something.

i'd hate having a chip in my hand with the money on it...
besides the fact it's not natural, getting it inside will hurt like hell...
and indeed, when you have cash it's a lot easier to see how much you got and be able to spend...
where people using credit cards often use more money as they can afford...
