It depends who you are against. Im not fond of blitzball so i just customised BDL on one of Wakkas weapons. It did around 30000 to IronClad with 255 strength. But i got the World Champion eventually and he does 99999 at full health with 255 str.

Depending on the fiend's defense level, you ould probably do 99999 with a celestial weapon at around 160-170 Str.

It's funny when I have a team of Lulu, Wakka, and Yuna, and both women are doing max damage with the Quick Hit move. And by the way, if none of you realized the usefulness of Quick Hit, discover it. One of the best things to do if youhave high speed, Haste, and the Overdrive setting of "Warrior."

Quick hit AND quick pockets are the only things i use to attack. Useful in dark aeons, penance, nemesis.

you don't always have to have the celstial wepaons to break the damage limit by that much depends on if a person is using Action Replay codes!

If you could be bothered making one 
To be honest, gathering ribbon dark matter is bad enough never mind getting the dark matter for BDL! And i have INT, i can get them from penance w/o actually beating him.
