IT depends on if you do the side quests and try to max before beating the end boss but I believe it took me 68 hours (give or take 4 hours or so)
I hated Pandemonium! Though if I remember correctly there is a secret shop near the end of the level...

Just playing the game and no going out of your way to do everything it should take around 50. If you incorporate maxing everyone's level and getting all the chocographs and doing the moogle mail sidequests it takes it over 80

It’s been a long time since I last played this game…
I think it took me over 90 hours the first time I played it, but I admit that I wandered around a lot; finished all the side quests, and my characters’ levels were around 70s or so. I think it will take you many less hours if you don’t waste your time like I did. The game is one of the best, so don’t focus on finishing it fast and try to enjoy it.

Even doing that, I doubt you could do it, you couldn't get powerful enough in ten hours to beat Necron, he would slaughter you.

i think it took me 58 hours (i didnt max all my chars or anything i did though try to do as much as i could and wasnt too bothered for a first run through)
and i still found the last boss hard
it was more getting to him ready for trance immediately then luck to winXD
some people said he was easy though but mehXD
ark was hardest for meXD

...it's actually not that hard...try it...skip everything...
...the tricky part is the tetra master thing where you need to beat the guy to keep going...
...for that...just save and restart if you lose...and you will lose a lot if you're going to rush the thing...
...for training...I am capable of beating Ozma with a level 47 party, so there's no difficulty in bosses...
...save all the time...
...disk 1: level 12
...disk 2: level 28
...disk 3: level 39
...disk 4: level 46
...necron is not that hard...just have enough Hp to survive neutron ring...
...and also...for every boss in disk 3 and four...just use any items...(throw) and any potions...do not bother stealing from bosses except the first one just to get mage masher...
...skip the chocobo thing...tempting...but skip it...(get it though, but at level one only to go through the forgotten continent without fighting...as well as others...
...my time as actually something like 10h 16min or something...

Ozma's easy as long as all party members have the dark headband that absorbs dark element damage and vivi has meteor
I still don't believe you could get through the game in 10 hours.
After I'm done this runthrough of 7 I will give it a shot though and let you know how it turns out.

I have decided the only way to do this would be to have two save files, one you actually play, figure out exactly what you need to do (buying items, solving puzzles etc) and then do it on the other save as fast as you can...
I have also decided this is not possible because you wouldn't learn any skills off of equipment and I'm calling BS and Shenanigans.
I'm not even going to attempt this because it would be a miserable experience and I would blame you and hate you for it.
Necron is not that hard? How about when he hits you with every status effect? Nuetron Ring is not his most powerful move, you need the anti-status skills in that fight.
