Look in your own profile and you'll see a link that explains karma. You will not get 1 karma until after 24 hrs. Its 1 karma for each 24 hrs for now. Maybe in the future there will be additional karma for other things.
Oh, and you can lose karma by being moderated for breaking forum rules, which you have done already with your spamming, double posting, triple posting etc. I wont reduce your karm this time since you are new but PLEASE read the forum rules before posting anymore. All of these questions you are asking are answered in the FAQs and Rules.
