and as far as the contract is conserned sure id take it, but then id rip apart a friends and hardwire the cd drive to the new pc  
and if thats not alowed then * the contratct to hell, id never sign it.
id find a way to rip them off, and if i couldn't id retract it and give them their hunk of junk back

the $7500 PC is anything from a Hunk of junk.
and most likely a lawsuit would come from breaking it.
and no. you cannot remove the BD drive from the PS3 and attach it to your PC.. for 2 reasons:
1: its non-standard size would mean you would have to soder proper cables onto the correct pins.
2: There are no drivers for the BD drive for the PC. im sure there are Linux drivers though.. hrmmm..
also remember you are getting more than an Awesome TV.. you are also getting a 30" LCD monitor with twice the resolution of 1080p a quad-Core processor. and SLI GeForce 8800's with 4gb of DDR800 memory.
