i wil be honest. this restores my faith that not all douchebags are running sony, and that infact there are some CEO's that are honest.
to be short, a sony CEO said that microsoft did a great job with the 360. and that they are a worthy competitor.

to be fair, i dont respect most divisions of microsoft either. i think that the division working on the xbox is doing a great job, but the Douchebags who dont do their job at the windows department should be shot.

i DO hope that with Sony going Linux means that it will pose a real threat against windows. and that will hopefully get them off their lazy butts and back to work making a REAL product that isint full of bugs.

PS3 -will- own XBOX 360. Better graphics, three times the size hard drive (on the expensive version), can play more formats of disks, looks cooler lol does that count? But seriously, free LIVE online gaming, and so much more - we'll just have to wait a few more months and you shall see the awesome yet expensive power of the PS3!

yhea it will of that theres no doubt, we know the perks of the 360 but the ps3 will be a better console with bigger array of games for sure.
btw people say GC suck, my policy on that? get one, get 3 friends, repeat to me that the GC sucks, u cant right? besides its not like u cant download the games.
ps: ya i kind of hate sonny too, i hate how delicate *** **** ******* *** ** *** *** ** ** ****** the PS2 is.

yes PStwo slim is much MUCH better than the PS2 original.
i disagree on the thought that the PS3>360. frankly becuase they will have the same graphics, identical games, and the online service wont have the same features as Live does...
mainly, the 360 can guarantee that an old game you can play online with a friend. PS3 Online cant. When you get Killzone 8 and everyones playing that... you wont beable to play Killzone 3 online (KZ3 for the PS3?) because they would have taken down the servers to support KZ 7/8
not to mention that the anti-* tools included in XBL are actualy usable, since to get a new account you have to BUY one. PS3 will undoubtably offer a new account creation as much as you want, so if you get banned too much, or are put on too many peoples ignore lists, you can just make a new account and get around it.
on the 360 its still possible, but not many will do it since they would lose so much and also lose all the money they have spent into the system already.

as i just read from another one of your posts, and had already known too some extent, the PS3 SOS as you call it is going to be even -better-, and free, PS3 actually has a little better graphics, their blu-ray disks hold a whopping 50 GB as compared to a much less amount of space, i cant remember how much, i think 15 GB of the HDDVD from XBOX 360. Also, it seems as though blu-ray is taking over as seen in commercials of Ultraviolet, though i havent seen any advertisement for blu-ray dvd players yet. another thing, but certainly not the last thing, is that the hard drive of the 600 dollar version of PS3 is three times the size of XBOX 360s, at 60 GB. PS3 is a -ton- better than XBOX 360. Im not a big fan of microsoft either, so more power to Sony!

the thing im wondering the most is how the hell they r gonna fill up a 50gb disc with only just one game, im sure therell be games with just lots of videos or stuff but... im just wondering...
for all that price and space, maybe playtime will increase a little? well i expect it to anyway, at least from the videos im suposing theyll use to fill them up.
am i right? i got absolutely no idea, im just dark guessing.

1: free isint better, its just free, i'd gladly pay $50 a year to not see any ad's in my games. but thats just my oppinion
2: The disc size wont make a damn difference, Blu-Ray holds 25gb per layers, HD-DvD holds 15gb per layer... how much is used in a game? we are BARELY using 6gb.
what is taking the most space in games?
Music/Voice/Video's take up the most disc space. Oblivion itself ran out of space just on the amount of voice acting ALONE.
games themselves are not large at all. we can fit massive MASSIVE games in very small sizes. hell we can get Next-Gen graphics out of a small sized game. Will Wright is proving that it can be done with Spore, that game will come on a single CD and it will have massive content.
Take a look at http://produkkt.abraxas-medien.de/kkrieger its a game that has DOOM3 like graphics, and fits on a floppy disc (im not kididng, you can fit it TWICE on a floppy disc, its only 90kb)
Take a look at the upcoming 360 game that will use the new Unreal 3 engine and have not only a full story, but an entire multiplayer experience, and fit in at 50mb in size.
we dont need Blu-Ray or HD-DvD for games, we need them for our Massive HD movies. we need them for our thousand-hour-long M.A.S.H. Season Collectors edition sets. we DONT need them for games.
microsoft realized that, sony dident.
sony is making you pay $200 extra to watch Blu-Ray movies.
and dont say that "Oh but its a cheep Blu-Ray player" because it's not, you are comparing the price of the PS3 in November, to the price of Blu-Ray players NOW. not only will the price go down, but the tech still stucks. and will suck since the PS3 and all current players have a very limited 2x BD reader. which means that even thouhg you have a Huge HD movie, you still have to wait awhile because it reads at HALF THE SPEED OF A DVD READER.
microsoft is full of greedy manipulative people, but so is sony, and while i dont trust their windows product, they have done an amazing job on the 360 and trying to put it down for letting you choose to have, or have not a next-gen MOVIE PLAYER (beause thats all the Blu-Ray drive is going to benefit the PS3, as a movie player)
Honestly, think, Sony would have kicked Microsoft's ass HANDS DOWN if it werent for Blu-Ray, the drive itself has raised the cost of the console by about $200. meaning that if they were to remove it, the console would be the same price as the 360 today, and play the EXACT same games as it would have with the BD drive.
