I thought about those things, but then I figured some people would complain about it being too hard so I decided not to make it fail sometimes. Perhaps it would be fun to make it not work on bosses though. To Lara, haha yeah I hardly ever used in spells in FFVIII due to them weakening my stats. To be honest I disliked FFVIII, especially coming from the masterpiece which is FFVII.

I have to totally agree with FuN on this one FFVIII was ok in my perspective because the way the story was it was slow moving and the spell system was one of the dumbest out there and plus like FuN said it would go down when you used your magic or you did it by accident which i did many times with ultima -.- anyway back on topic
Ok don't know if you could do this or maybe in the future when you have some free time maybe but when you scan a monster maybe it could be like FF with a little bio and stats of the monster and stealable items?
Like this almost again just a suggestion you don't have to use it.

Again I know this might take forever if it was hard and slow and if you can't have different things for each monster but I think it would be pretty cool because you could see the stats a description and stealable items a monster has.

That is a good idea. Perhaps when I add a feature to affect the brumos with status effects and other elements such as "weak to fire" I could add that in.

What our turn to fight back with status effects that sounds like a good feature I hope we are not getting posion or they will die fast and elements sound great this RPG is really turning into a real FF now Anyway thanks for listening on that suggestion.

Although with bosses you do have an extra turn- so scanning would be given another chance. I'll give the system a try, I've not decided whether its a good idea or not.

Hmm yeah I never thought about that but would it really matter because if they know bosses are immune to scan why would they try it again lol?

I always used to think there already were elements in the game, but only three. Light, Dark, and Magic.
Light was supposed to be strong against monster-types.
Dark beats humanoid.
And magic was strong against everything until MP ran out, then it was weak to everything...
Anyways...I'm drawing the name from the FFV skill, but...
Zeninage Gear? Or just Zeni/Zenin?
The more gold you have, the stronger the gear gets?
Just thinking it might be an interesting alternative/pairing with Gil Tossing.

Hmm...On paper it's good but I personally don't like it. I roughly know the enemy's HP anyway from before you made this change.

Agreeded although if people didn't like this change why would they like FF it's basicly the same they don't show the HP and MP in most of them so. Well thats just me This topic has been almost 2 weeks old by now can't belive people are still replying best if we end it here.

We have modified this feature to make it happen randomly. Sometimes you will get to see the monster's HP & MP and sometimes you will not.
