im not sure if you can download FFXI like any other FF in the internet...i think you need to buy it...

Visit the FFXI official website for more info, if I'm not mistaken its a package system. You gotta buy the game (they've released it in PS2 - you'll need to get the PS2 HDD too, Xbox360 and PC online).
From PS2 and Xbox you can play online (get the connection).

you cant just DL the game, unless their are private sever around, which they arnt btw,you need to buy it becase there are diffent aspect that take place
