No what? Edge was right you get Three Stars from Catoblepas in the Monster arena then you can use 20 of them to give a weapon 1 MP Cost regardless what it is.
Or are you referring to Yuna and Lulu's celestial weapons? (Nirvana and Onion Knight) which have 1 MP Cost when you fully unlock them with the Celestial mirror?

First off, your Aeons will grow as Yuna does, and they will break the 9,999 HP barrier automatically. I think one of the Magus Sisters has nearly 50,000 on my game, lol.
To break the HP Barrier for your characters, highly recommeded, I you need to make your own armor. The item you need is Wings to Discovery and you need thrity of them.
The easist way to get them is to face the Shinryu in the Monster Arena, as he will drop two each round. Warning, it is an underwater battle, so make sure Rikku, Wakka, and Tidus can hold their ground. Counterattack, Hastega, Protect, and Quick Hit will be your friends. He also counterattacks, too, so be careful.

Well, that's a bit more challenging. Sorry, I thought you meant breaking your HP Limit, not the damage limit, my bad. All you have to do fight and defeat any of the orginal monsters in the arena. You have a good chance of them dropping Dark Matter, two of them, to be exact, and you need 66 of them per weapon. The easiest to fight, I would say Shinryu or the Ultima Buster. That's the only way I see of getting Dark Matters.
