HELP ME PLEASE AHRIMAN IS KILLING ME

I"m in Final Fantasy Xll and i cannot beat Ahriman in schoen place cave. My characters are all 38 or above and i'm getting destroyed by all the status ailments. I've been lately using my great amounts of quickenings to try to kill him but it never works. I now have all the gambits available to me and would like to now how i can defeat him.
