it's just a popular company. and instead of spray cans, it's in a tub. Cool whip is a bit thicker than more whip cream though.
and cheesecake is make in the same style. the cheat way is just cool because it's cheaper, faster, healthier, and it tastes really good (never had real keylime pie, so i can't judge if it's better or not).
meh its lime juice eggs zest and sweeteneed condensed milk so yeah
you probably HAVE eggs, you will need limes either way so your pretty much paying for condenced milk XD
not too expensive
oh and the pie crusts for both XD

But it doesnt taste riiiiiiight XD texture god dammit. It doesnt have cheesecake texture. Nor does it taste quite the same....sides like arc said its really not that much more expensive...its eggs, and sweetened condensed milk...and the limes and crust you would have to buy anyway for either version....but yeah it is faster...although really the egg yoke way doesnt take long at all XD either you just have the baking time...but its worth it I swear XD
