1. the top one isn't a trailer. it's only a live action clip that they did for the halo 3 launch
2 the bottom one is not the movie at all. It is too poor of quality for it to be from the movie, and it has yet to even have a trailer put out for it. if you read what he even said :

Arms race is what the top one is called. the botom one is the full version of it.
Please do your research before making false claims and believing what everyone said. It's like the LoZ movie trailer. fake, but high budget fake. These two videos are the same thing, just publicity for Halo 3 before it came out. If you don't believe me, look for the full video of "Arms Rrace"

also, i've not heard much about it in a while, but i did hear that some of the original writers/producers quit or something, and kinda left the concept in turmoil. then i heard they had someone else pick up the script, only to rework the entire thing. it's gonna be a good while before we see this movie i'm afraid

well, the peter jackson project is what I'm referring to. since bungie dropped out of the halo development, he is going to pick it up with the help of a microsoft owned developer. He is going to set the bar very high most likely, and will be "guiding" the movie.
