get a intel core 2 duo setup with a direct x10 video card (which cost upwards of $500) PLUS you have to own Windows Vista to get that high-quality of a gameplay.
yah, Crisys is frigging expensive, im going to wait for it to come out on the 360 (which has directX10) or others can wait for it come out on the PS3 (which can only do DirectX9... but the PS3 MUCH better at OpenGL games rather than DirectX games, which exclusive titles cater to this balance)

I am a fan of FPS games but I am getting burnt out on 8000 FPS games being released every month for every console and PC. I miss the days when we had an even amount of games from different genres. Now it is FPS, Mario, or nothing. On topic though Crysis does look like it would be pretty cool.

UT2k7 will hopefully fix that.....
the UT games always revive my hunger for FPS.

You forgot the Asian-oriented mmorpg's, there's always those too.

True, and I am a fan of UT but that series seems to die off quicker than any FPS game. I could be enjoying the online experience and day by day the servers become more deserted. In the end all that is left is a 200 ping European server filled with noob mods.
