Golden Sun - Dark Dawn
So if you have been living under a rock, a new Golden Sun game came out for the DS with 3D models (not 3D where it jumps out at you).
I played a little bit of it and so far it seems to lead you along quite a bit unlike the 1st and 2nd game did. Hopefully that lessons as the game goes on.
I personally loved Golden Sun 1 and 2 and so I look forward to beating this one as well.

OOO golden sun finally came out eh?  waited so long for the 3rd one to come out. Gotta go get it. Though i was really attached to the characters of the first 2. If i'm correct, the main character should be the next gen of some of the previous ones right? hope they make some references or something lol

got it on my wishlist on amazon...
I love the first goldensun, but never played the second 
(i played on an emulator and couldn't find a way to transfer my characters  thus got pissed off at it and never played since, i think i actually finished the first one 3 times trying to find a way to transfer characters, lol)
not sure if i should play the second one or if the game gives hints to what happened duringly for the newer players that barely know what a GBA is...

It pretty much spells it out for you in the beginning... It's actually quite patronizing for players of the first two.
You know there is a very simple way of transferring characters from Golden Sun to Golden Sun 2. There is a code you must put in (which the Gold codes is so very very long), you get the code after you defeat the final boss or on the save file of a complete play through I think you push some button combination and it shows you your codes (you can get Bronze, Silver or Gold).

I just ordered Supercard DStwo! It's a card which you can load backups onto and play them (legally of course depending on your country lol). So I'm going to have all three plus a bunch of other games on it. (^v^)

i dunno, never seen that to be honest, the codes
good to know the new one explains what happened, it's good for the newer players (or slackers like me)
i did love goldensun though, it was a really good game, battlesystem, summoning, spells out of battles, good story
