Going to play this awesome game again
Suddenly got the urge to replay FFX, this time I'm getting Anima. As well as completing all the side quests, defeating optional bosses! Its forgiveable for missing out so many in the first try of the game, right?
Any tips and hints I should keep in mind before I start playing the game again? This is my second time playing the game though, and yeah there's still a few things I'm not sure about.

lol i had the same attitude for crisis core, finish the story first time round, then go back to do the extra stuff!
its always a good way to play games, you get more enjoyment that way

I think repeating play of a game really helps, I felt FFX is much easier now. So far so good, I'm at Luca town now - Tidus' first Blitzball game with the Besaid Aurochs...and I'm gonna win this one!

I've played through the game several times most recently with cheat codes...to see if they actually make the game easier (they do but then its pointless to play the game) and I still can't play blitzball v_v

v_v I never replayed FFX, I loved the game but the fact that the story keeps you in the dark for like 80% of the game really put my off from replaying it, I don't like the idea of watching it all over, knowing well whats going to happen, and shouting at the television like a dork watching a football game (no offense to anyone that shouts at their television during football games tho...)
anyways, have fun with it, and grind, grinding is a very powerful thing in that game, due to the way the leveling system works, which i might add I personally loved the system in that game, the entire system lineup, from the inbattle party change to the leveling to the summon stat progression, and the item customization, my advise, have a blast noticing all the little hints to the truth that you never noticed the first time...

I simply can't win the Blitzball game at Luca (story based game)! Almost infuriating, I loaded twice and yet I can't win. First I lost 1-0, second time lost 2-1.
Currently at the Calm Lands, right after defeating that giant Golem boss. There's one thing I still not satisfied with the great battle system.
If you guys noticed, Lulu's and Yuna's stats on the Sphere Grid route supports quite a lot of Evasion - which should be the starter stat bonus for characters like Rikku or maybe Tidus. Its ok if Wakka has a lot of Accuracy bonuses and Auron with Strength..
And I agree with Anubis, the impact of the story ain't that strong once you knew the ending and the whole story behind it.

I thought tidus and rikku WERE quite fast and evasive to begin with, it makes sense for yuna and lulu to have higher evasion as they dont have any physical defense, so as magic users they have high evasion instead and high magic def otherwise they would just die horribly all the time like my kimahri =)

<- thanks rukie =)

Sadly, Tidus and Rikku have very low Eva stats in their sphere grid. But yeah Tidus and Rikku both have high Agility, so they're pretty good when it comes to attacking many times in a row.
Kimahri..can someone tell me how to make good use of him? He's the only character I always end up using as backup, I made him learn those vital basic spells and techniques like Haste, Esuna, etc..so that I won't be relying too much on Yuna for status curative and Tidus for status buff. Thats all I can find useful in him lol! (besides his White Wind skill)

I have played thru FFX more times than i can remember and i have only one complant, the option to swap your party in battle sometimes made the fights a little to easy for me, did anyone else feel the same way or am i just crazy?

Yeah in terms of boss battles yeah, but in terms of normal battles no. Cause each character are specialised in attacking specific type of fiends, take Wakka for instead. Having high Acc, he's the man for flying fiends. Imagine we're unable to switch party members during fights, I can see Auron, Tidus and Rikku spending some great time tyring to hit just one flying fiend. And those fiends vulnerable to magic but with high resistance over physical attacks, take Flans for example. If Lulu's not there, well maybe Auron, Tidus and Wakka can spend some quality time playing the game "Lets hit the Jelly!". They made FFX battle system such a way so we can make full use of the characters speciality.
